In many ways, the quality of a person's life depends on how confident he is in himself. After all, it is confidence that enables us to achieve the desired results. Moreover, what is important, precisely those results that the person himself desires, and not his environment. An important condition for this will be how a person relates to his values, how much he understands and accepts his value.
Often, people who strive to gain self-confidence read smart books, go to trainings, but after a while they admit that for some reason they do not become more self-confident. The skills and knowledge that people take from books and trainings are of course useful. However, without changing some of the thinking patterns, it (benefit) will be minimal.
The fact is that confidence involves the use of other beliefs than the person is accustomed to. And changing beliefs, especially about yourself, is never easy. Imagine that you are skiing, it is easy and pleasant to move on a knurled track, but if you turn off the track, you will have to put more effort. Moreover, in order to lay a new ski track, you need to spend a lot of time and effort.
It is the same with our beliefs. Our habits of thinking and evaluating ourselves in a certain way are very similar to a knurled track, because you have been using such a system for a long time. And in order for a new one to work, it is necessary to lay a new track and at the same time also to roll it.
The biggest obstacle to gaining self-confidence, in my opinion, is the habit of devaluing yourself. Of course, we all live in a society and compare ourselves with those around us. However, such a comparison is often not in favor of a person. People often explain this devaluation of themselves by the fact that they are only showing self-criticism. But this is often not the case.
When an insecure person compares himself to others, then, as a rule, the results are underestimated. As a result of this, the person begins to worry. Another pattern is triggered, to make a tragedy of a universal scale out of a lack or an accidental mistake. At the same time, the consequence of such a reaction will be suffering, and, accordingly, the accusation of oneself with all the ensuing consequences.
The habit of devaluing your actions and results is, in my opinion, the number one enemy of your confidence. It is useful to remember when you are working on your confidence that there are no perfect people, and each of us has the right to make mistakes.
Live with joy! Anton Chernykh.

The Main Enemy On The Path Of Self-love
Any attempt to love oneself will sooner or later collide nose to nose with the voice of unrecognized subpersonalities - the voice of an inner critic who always grumbles, doubts, blames and looks for shortcomings in everything. It so happened that we live in an evaluating society - from the first minutes of birth we are evaluated on the Apgar scale, after which there is no way to hide from the gaze and stern comments of parents, doctors, educators, teachers, and coaches.
WHEN THE BEST IS THE ENEMY OF THE GOOD
WHEN THE BEST IS THE ENEMY OF THE GOOD The US Navy SEALs have a special exercise: they tie a person's hands behind his back, tie his ankles and throw him into a pool 3 meters deep. His task is to survive for five minutes. As is often the case in SEAL training, the vast majority of recruits fail.

All losing weight and dieters constantly struggle with hunger, considering it their worst enemy. All overeating people struggle with feelings of oversaturation in order to eat another delicious bite. People with normal eating behavior calmly respond to signals from their body and satisfy them.
Psychological Abuse: The Enemy That Is Not Visible
The woman asks, they say, what kind of training to go through to learn how to get along with her husband. Learning to get along meant "so that he doesn't call me a fat cow anymore." I didn't want to write this text. I started and put it off.
