There is a lot of talk about importance now planning, goal setting, efficiency and effectiveness.

This information pours on us in an endless stream from social networks, literature on this topic, from our environment. And if a person suddenly does not do anything, but simply rests not according to plan, then this is already a whole problem, because he is wasting time and opportunities in vain, just squandering his life.

More than one generation on our land has not yet lived at such a frantic pace as ours

And one of the most frequent requests for consultations is precisely that it seems to a person that he is not effective, he cannot organize his day correctly, and instead of watching a webinar he began to watch a stupid series, which is completely unforgivable.

As a result of this approach, feelings of guilt and self-worthlessness arise.

When I start asking what the client's day is filled with, it turns out that from the very early morning he is on his feet and the whole day is scheduled with the necessary work and household chores, but there is no connection and 3-5 hours were left outside the schedule. I begin to clarify what this time was filled with and it turns out that people need to eat at least 3 times a day, take a shower (it's even scary to talk about lying in a bath), get to work and just do nothing so that the brain can rest and switch from one to the other.

At these moments, on the one hand, there is a lot of surprise and understanding that these things are necessary, and on the other hand, a person utters the phrase: "But what about …?", And the names of famous bloggers and productive, in his opinion, personalities are listed. And the comparison is clearly not in favor of the client. In this moment, sadness appears in the eyes, a feeling of guilt that life is wasted, and after all, someone succeeds in doing everything …

Perhaps yes, because we are all different and everyone has their own pace. Or perhaps what we see on social networks is not entirely true, and the promoted bloggers and celebrities have whole teams that work for them. We also do not know how these people had to sacrifice to achieve their goals.

And I have questions

How much time in your life do you spend observing others? What prevents you from taking action to achieve what you want, or understanding that this is not your path? Why should you feel guilty instead of the pleasure of lounging on the couch with your loved ones and loved ones while watching movies and TV shows? And isn't what social networks are showing us a zombie and the imposition of a certain picture of a successful life?

And if observing someone else's life causes only negative emotions and feelings in you and does not motivate you at all to take action to achieve what you want, then perhaps you should stop and find something that will give you energy that prompts you to take action, a healthy interest in your life and its a qualitative improvement not in the direction of socially approved standards of success, but in the direction of your inner picture of personal happiness. But for this you need to draw this picture, and this is possible only through contact with yourself.

Do you have a picture of personal happiness?
