So often we, ordinary modern people, when speaking of sexual pleasure, mean genital pleasure, and so rarely pay attention to the pleasure obtained from ordinary daily activities. The pleasure of a warm shower, for example, when jets of such pleasant water hit the skin and, caressing, stimulate it. When stretching in the morning on the bed, we feel the stretching of our muscles, their sweet awakening after a night of stagnation, this is also a pleasure. When we cuddle under the softest blanket, we feel so comfortable. When we take a sip of hot, slightly scalding coffee, feeling how warmth spreads through the mucous membrane of our mouth, and down, we feel its bitterness or sweetness, inhale its rich smell. During physical exertion, feel the capabilities of your body, enjoy the study of your endurance, awareness of the possession of your body, knowledge of it, the ability to control your movements. For us, such simple actions have become quite commonplace, and we can rarely pay attention to this type of autoeroticism.
The opportunity to have this kind of pleasure is available to a person all his life. This possibility is there before genital maturity, and remains after genitality fades away, replacing genital pleasure.
Our bodies are more sensitive when we have no sex, so we try to get pleasure through some other interaction of the outside world with our body. You can remember how we reacted to tickling in childhood, when we wriggled, and it was difficult for us to endure it, but we still wanted to get it, and how now, when we may not react to tickling, but it may even annoy someone. Then our bodies were one continuous erogenous zone, and we were often drawn to all sorts of skin irritation and physical activity, which not only developed us, but also gave us satisfaction, although we were not particularly aware of this. When a mature person has a regular sex life, the need to get pleasure in the same way fades into the background, and the genitals are a powerful source of pleasure. During genital pleasure, the ability to receive pleasure through the skin, mucous membranes and muscles, only enhance the bliss that a person receives.
Unfortunately, not all physically healthy people have the ability to receive bodily delight on its own, for example, enjoying the touch of a nice sweater, applying lotion to the skin, jogging, and / or received with a partner: dancing, kissing, sex. The reasons for this are very diverse, ranging from early infantile disorders to prolonged stress, which is now so common in the modern world. The passage of psychoanalytic psychotherapy, in combination with body-oriented psychotherapy, can bring very good results and significantly improve the quality of life of a person who is deprived of the ability to receive pleasure from fairly simple things, because our physicality is really amazing and endless in its ability to please us.

This Frightening Physicality And Generations Of "dead Mothers"
At one of my self-support groups, we studied "Focusing" - the method of J. Jendlin for working with bodily sensations. The results turned out to be very interesting, and the main advantage of the method, in my opinion, is that it allows you to safely go through the discomfort and go to the resource state "
The More Pleasure There Is In Life, The Less Pleasure There Is In Life. What Is The Paradox?
Have you noticed how much time in life you devote to certain pleasures? Among all the types of pleasures of our time, we can list the following, into which we literally fall through and do not notice how much of our time they take - watching TV, TV programs, news, hanging on Facebook, VK, non-stop reading on the Internet, TV series and watching them or on TV.
Fear Of Slipping. Pleasure And Fear. Analysis Of One Job
Client request. Alena, help me deal with fear! Next week we are going with my spouse to a ski resort, everything seems to be wonderful - rest, romance, beauty, but I know in advance: I will be afraid again, overcoming a desperate, terrible fear of risky descents, although this is not the first time I accompany my husband on trips … In general, I am good at snowboarding, but I ride with pretense, always admitting something amiss … Is there any special reason behind this fear?
Food, Pleasure, And Sexuality
When working with clients, I have noticed that sexuality and eating behavior have an important similarity at their core - getting pleasure. The therapeutic value is not only the choice of the product (which is undoubtedly important), but also the very attitude to food and its use.
