After I saw in the comments a desire to read about the "heroine's path," I wondered if I, who had read very little directly about it, could write something worthwhile in order to correctly orient people in understanding the real manifestations of these ancient motives.

Also, I unexpectedly found for myself that I cannot distribute it in the same stages as in the male format (article "The path of a hero in real human life. From the first raised sword - to returning home").

It was a small revelation for me, since the "hero's path" in my opinion is a creative expression of the experience of human development in general (and, perhaps, not only - even young corals swim away from their "parents" as far as possible "towards adventure") …

This is probably all because the epic universal motif, which is called the "hero" - "dissolves" in a woman only with the beginning of a departure from the mother, while in men it is not considered the first stage. Whether from the fact that men are almost born "merged" with the image of the hero, or from male egocentrism, inclined to consider any purposeful action a heroic deed, which does not exclude the former. And who knows, maybe because of the lack of direct coincidence in this matter between the sexes, Freud described one of such piquant and interesting positions of the analysis as "a woman's envy of the penis" (c).

Well, whatever you call it, it just is.

I present a schematic "The Path of the Heroine" - a hero with enchanting female outlines:

1. Leaving the female

2. Trail of trials

3. Serving the "King"

4. Meeting with another man

5. Reaching the "Throne"

6. Reuniting with a female

I propose to dwell in more detail at each stage.

1. Leaving the female

For a woman, this is a variant of the "Call", which includes a certain rejection of traditional femininity (for example, the idea that women are obliged to raise children and take care of the house). In history, there is often a mention of cutting hair like a boy. In real life (in addition to a real haircut change), the stage can manifest itself in separation from the mother - the emergence of their own hobbies in adolescence, which parents do not like, or the need to live separately due to university studies, for example.

2. Trail of trials

For a woman, the "trail of trials" can pass under the shadow of a painful routine work or, in general, any activity that usually requires masculine qualities - endurance, decisiveness, logical thinking, responsibility, etc. For example, Dane Eris had to walk through the deserts on her "trail of trials".

Any woman shows her pro-masculine side when:

reads the contract before signing it

forces himself to memorize an uninteresting subject

achieves a leadership position and organizes the work of subordinates

sets a goal to save for something, prescribing tasks, etc.

But it is precisely this stage - the "trail of trials" - this is the time of learning to be responsible for oneself and meeting with one's own masculinity through building up such qualities.

But a woman can go through this stage with the help of a man.

3. Serving the "King"

When in a woman's life there is an increase in socialization skills, an opportunity opens up to meet the "King" (some authoritative and significant person for her).

By the way, one of the main problems of "hysterical natures" (that is, those who suffer from hysteria) is that at this stage they are quickly "bought", because they are just waiting for someone in the "mantle of status".

When you are independent and attractive, the Kings want you to serve them with mind and / or body. For example, one well-known producer ("The King" in his field) slept with a large number of Hollywood actresses for giving leading roles.

4. Meeting with another man

This stage implies that the heroine meets someone who is very lovingly interested in her (both a woman and a man).

In reality, this can happen at any of the stages - and the point of this process is for the heroine to get to know her own ideals of the sexually "masculine" (ideals that are not imposed by her parents).

5. Reaching the "Throne"

At a new point, the heroine (alone or with her lover) plans to take the "Throne". This is manifested in the desire to become a significant figure herself and / or through a man.

As in the "male" format, this is figuratively manifested by the murder of the "King" or by escape from him.

For example, in the movie "The Greatest Showman", the wife of the Main Hero got married in spite of her rich parents, and then helped her husband to realize his own far-reaching dreams.

6. Reunion with the Female

At the last stage, when the epic cycle of increasing independence has been successfully completed, the time comes for a woman (as well as a man) to be more herself (actually a woman), plunging into: raising children, caring for oneself, a relaxed lifestyle, enhanced home improvement, etc..d.

For example, Isis, having found all the particles of her husband-Osiris (having collected her own masculine abilities, like a mosaic), took care of her own children. And the fearless and courageous Katniss Everdeen "Mockingjay" from The Hunger Games trilogy culminated in a mother and loving woman.

In conclusion, I will say that this averaged picture of the description of the female "heroine's path" can be much more chaotic than the "male" format.

It is quite possible that the "heroine's path" is not a staircase, but a kaleidoscope containing a large number of different colors that must be seen in order to complete the passage. In addition, the stages of the "heroine's path", with the exception of the first and the last, can be arranged in any order.

And perhaps the well-known judgment: "women in the unconscious, like at home" is not devoid of meaning. After all, this is a talent to do without planning, simultaneously at once a million things and something else on the way from point A to point B.
