The most powerful tool in the absence of change in life is fear. He is the very same barrier that meets from time to time on every path. Some, after waiting, set off in search of a different road. Others decide to just go straight ahead, bypassing conventions and rules. Still others remain obediently standing still, spending an eternity waiting for the already hated obstacle to be raised.

Fear never stands still. He progresses, treading softly and inaudibly, but confidently and surely. Like fog, it gently and gradually envelops different areas of your life, and once you turn around, you will feel like a sweet, but lost hedgehog in the fog, who sees little more than two steps along the road of his own life. In such a fog, one cannot see not only the city, imposingly spread out on the seashore a few kilometers away, but also a person walking very close …

Fear conquers you gradually, it is in no hurry, because there is no need for it. At first, you will be afraid to fight back one of the "leaders" in the new school, because he is still stronger, more popular and what's the point. Then you don't risk it and agree with the teacher who wants money for the exam. Because it is difficult to learn his subject and to fight with it is more dear to himself.

Over time, you will hate your job, in which the attitude of the bosses is disgusting, the team is worse than the terrarium, and unworthy wages are paid from the master's shoulder once every few months. But you will continue to work. Silently and almost resignedly, because suddenly it - the authorities - will get angry at your timid question and (oh, horror !!) will fire you. On the other hand, a quarterly salary is better than nothing.

Then you will not be able to leave your husband, who is jealous of you for every jacket on a hanger in the store (from your own fears and insecurities, of course) and demands a report on your location every hour and a half. You will regularly call at the right time and quietly reassure yourself: "After all, some people are even worse!"

And you agree to these half-measures reluctantly, raising them over time to the rank of normal and habitual. Because this is the well-known, quite tolerable "evil" with which you have already managed to get used to and work out the defense mechanisms. And what "evil" will await you around new turns is unknown. And this unpreparedness makes it even worse.

Building relationships (including workers) with those who are afraid is easier. Because they do not need to explain or prove something. And this is not required. Because fear is paralyzing. Building a relationship with someone who is afraid is like having a boxing match with a man with his hands tied and wearing fins - as easy as shelling pears.

Fear fetters from within. It provides dense blinders that securely block the horizon from new roads beyond the horizon. He makes you lower your eyes where it is just right to raise your head and see the starry sky. A sky of new possibilities.

A dark forest doesn't have to be scary or horror. It can have amazing flowers that bloom only at night. Do not be afraid. Because the world belongs to the brave. And so is your world.
