How difficult it is to stop when you were running through life at the speed of light, fearing that, suddenly, you would miss something important, afraid to stop, even for a minute! Because stopping for you means death.

And when you, already over 40, being in constant motion, it begins to dawn on you that the Universe is, anyway, faster than you! And catching up with life is like catching up with a plane in the sky. It doesn't matter that you are the best sprinter in the world. And you say to yourself: "I will do it!" "I can!" "I am the best!" And you run, competing with life and with God, who is better and more beautiful, faster and more enduring.

You don't have time to look around and choose the direction of your path! You're running! And you are changing! You know exactly what you need to change in yourself to fit into this life! You're running again! You want to catch up with life. And you, all the time it seems that you are, here, in a second from victory! You have a goal and you see no obstacles.

And, at some point in time, you realize that everything around you becomes obstacles in your path. And life itself is already beginning to interfere with you! You begin to divide it into parts. This is my health! And this is my relationship! You start to wonder if it's mine or not mine? And is there any sense and interest in this for me? And it starts to tear you apart. You cannot concentrate and understand what is more important to you during this period of time. And most importantly, you keep running. You remember that you need to catch up with life and then you will become happy.

But happiness does not come … You are more and more often start to irritate your loved ones. You are not happy with yourself and your partner. You are in a constant state of discontent, and no one can please you. You are no longer pleased with your achievements and your appearance. Your motivation drops and you get tired of pleasing others. And so, step by step … the path to nowhere …

And you can't stop. Not allowed. Relaxation is for the weak. And you are strong! You are flint! You need to reach! This is what determines your success. But what and with whom, you do not have to choose … They said - it is necessary, then it is necessary!

We begin to chase life thanks to our beloved parents, who for us were an unshakable role model. They were the first to show us the way to survive and adapt to life. It was the parents who created the conditions for us in which we learned to trust life, or vice versa, to see it as a threat. Some, thanks to their parents, managed to defend their autonomy and identity, while others, well over 30, continue to depend on their parents and cannot decide whether he is a boy or a girl.

It was our parents who taught us how to survive, going through wars, hunger, devastation and a million crises in our lives. That is why you cannot stop and rest. Because you have one goal - to survive! And survive at any cost. And it so often happens that if you cannot stop yourself, then life itself slows you down! And not always, this is a vacation in the Canary Islands. Yes! Life fulfills your dream of relaxing, but often in a hospital bed. Have you dreamed of relaxing, lying on the ocean shore, and did not find a few minutes to devote time to your dream? Excellent! Then life will help you find time to think! You will rest with a log lying in intensive care! And this, mind you, is not the worst option. It is worse when life already gives a clue in the form of chronic or incurable diseases. Just know that life treats you the same way you treat it.

But if you would allow yourself to stop even for a minute, even for half an hour, in order to say to yourself at one moment: “Stop!”. Stop to think and ask yourself the following questions: "What is actually happening in my life?" "Where am I going and who are my fellow travelers?" "Who am I in this relationship?" "Who is this person for me?" "Does my life make me happy?" "Is this relationship leading me to success or vice versa?" etc.

What if you just allowed yourself to do nothing for a while? What would happen then? Try, right now, turn off your phone for ten minutes and just sit without talking to anyone. Or, go for a walk now and forget your phone at the office. Just don't do anything. Just be! Just live! Live those ten minutes for yourself! Allow yourself this!

Your health, your activities, relationships and meaning in this life are all about you. It's all you. You don't have to do anything to be. You already are! You already live! And this makes sense … The meaning of your life.

Because to relax does not mean to die!

To relax means to see life!
