Tips on how to become a leader can be filled with various nuances, but at the same time there are basic basic points that need to be developed in the first place, this article is devoted to this.

Initially, it is necessary to learn how to correctly set goals, determine their reliability, adequacy and the need to achieve. Further, learning how to become leaders, you can notice one general trend - taking responsibility and making choices. A person who is responsible for the course of his own destiny, for many, becomes a support and reference point in their personal movement. In fact, the one who is able to make decisions eventually begins to take them for other people in various crisis or incomprehensible situations. In addition, those who do not have their own sufficient level of determination or doubt, are afraid to take the last step, such an example nearby can act as a kind of insurance against mistakes.

The leader is responsible for the consequences of decisions on his own. It can be wonderful feelings in case of success or rather difficult experiences in a situation of failure, since there is no one to blame, but it is necessary to sit down and sort out omissions, draw up a new plan or refuse to implement an existing one.

What is a leader?

We can say that a leader is one who constantly moves towards what was planned, and leads others, therefore, not only dedication is important, but also the ability to distinguish between false and true values. Helps the development of leadership maximum initiative and planning for the future. It is necessary to apply this approach not only with respect to global projects designed for decades, but even in the evening and on weekends. Starting to think about the details, a person develops the ability to find unique solutions where it is not accepted, developing uniqueness and genius in himself, and competent planning helps to solve most problems on the go. An important leadership skill is to distribute tasks among all participants in the process, taking into account the abilities, interests of each and the needs of the common cause.

A leader is a person who is able to lead a group of people not at the formal level of a given position, but one who, having a high authority and a recognized level of trust, can influence the actions and choices of people, even without having formal power.

In times of change, uncertainty or the need to make fateful decisions, all members of this group may well pass the fate of the further course of the process into the hands of the leader. This is comparable to the leader of the pack, whom everyone will obey, and his opinion will be decisive, despite the preliminary assessment of the majority.

But the external side of influencing others remains tempting for many only until it turns out that there is still an internal aspect, the need to correspond to the personal title of a leader. Before learning to control and direct other people, to make decisions concerning their lives, you need to understand your personality, what components it consists of and in what sequence it is necessary to develop it.

The leader has iron self-discipline and endurance, one cannot do without elementary self-organization, he is able to find motivation for his further advance, set urgent goals and develop a system for achieving them. Only with the perfect skill of successfully building his life, a person acquires the ability to influence others. More precisely, it comes automatically, as people will reach for good mood, advice, help, example, or constructive criticism.

Leadership qualities are not determined by genetics, and reading several books and articles will not help the development of such an ability. Only constant work on oneself, on the structure of one's personality, will help to cultivate this trait in oneself. Some were lucky, and initially their upbringing was aimed at identifying the unique abilities of the individual and the development of these qualities in a favorable atmosphere that forms strong self-esteem and self-confidence and their abilities. Those who were brought up on artificial values, without taking into account individuality, were in every possible way forbidden the manifestation of activity, initiative and lowered self-esteem, stuffed the psyche with non-constructive feelings such as: Fear, guilt, resentment, helplessness, shame, pity, emotional constraint, fear of condemnation, inability to express feelings, the inability to control them and so on will be more difficult, because all these feelings will inhibit the development of a person.

A leader is one who creates himself with his own hands, actions and aspirations, choices and judgments every moment, without stopping. The leader is more likely to take full responsibility for himself than to blame others. Such a person understands his share of influence on the events of the present and distant future, at the expense of strategic thinking, and not only his own, but also all those involved, and takes responsibility for the consequences, not hiding behind others. He is able to make an important decision. Based on usefulness and logical analysis, not on the desire to get the desired approval. Therefore, many decisions made by the leader may be unpleasant for others, but at the same time they will be carried out. Since the reasoning of their choices, as well as the established reputation, will testify in favor of temporary inconveniences for the sake of further advancement.

The ability to lead a leader does not appear as a result of manipulation or blackmail, but thanks to a strong, developed personality, charisma, communication skills, the ability to present facts and analyze the situation.

Leadership qualities can differ for a soldier and a teacher, in the family in government, for sports achievements and for finding common points between people. But, in spite of all the specifics of various fields, in the course of many studies conducted, the main qualities for a leader of any level have been identified.

- Stability, constancy and firmness of character are in the first place among leadership manifestations. Anyone who supports different ideas does not inspire confidence among followers, as well as those who are able to betray the interests of the group under the pressure of fear or other emotions. Devotion to the cause, the chosen path is what will inspire people by example, as well as what gives confidence.

- Leader provides people with a sense of security and stability, which is achievable only with the manifestation of one's own devotion and the stability of beliefs in any external eventual changes, this, in turn, is based on a deep understanding of one's values, needs and the desired direction in life.

- Positivism and charisma … People adhere to those who are sympathetic, so a high level of charisma, the ability to discern the potential in any person and pleasant qualities are the key to a good relationship. A positive person who loves people, is open to acquaintance and communication, who is able to cheer up and point out strengths - the one who is needed by the majority.

- Maintain strength of mind and a wonderful mood, return faith and strength, then when you give up - this is one of the important functions of a leader. When such a person asks to make a lot of effort and endure unpleasant times, he will be listened to and supported, and with a different character, such demands can lead to rebellion, or to simple ignorance.

- Good communication skills … Communication skills go beyond being positive and encouraging. Leadership quality is the ability to convey information of any content to a person of any level of development, to establish successful communication between two warring parties, to convey their knowledge. This requires a keen sense of others, an understanding of the basics of psychology, and well-developed communication skills.

- Competence and professionalism … A constant increase in your knowledge is necessary for further transferring it to others in an accessible form (we have already discussed this above). Since the leader does not so much indicate what to do as opens up new paths and opportunities, determining the most optimal ways to advance. This generosity applies to everything that a person himself has. He is always ready to share knowledge or advice, help financially or morally support. The leader invests in more than just material resources, for example, arranging dinners or constantly treating them to caramels. To a greater extent, such a person shares his time and mental strength, his positive energy, trying to feed a person more than once, but to help him find a job, not to bribe judges to win, but to build a training program for independent victory. Usually this is a more difficult path, but it is always distinguished by development, and not by the formal fulfillment of desires.

- Activity and initiative - important qualities for a leader. He is constantly himself the possibility of developing and implementing plans or coming up with new ideas. The question of external motivation is not relevant for such people. It is the initiative that provides the inner motivation for achievements. A person who was able to motivate himself to activity in the future will be able to find motivation for the rest. Moreover, without using negative methods of influence for this, when a person is forced to follow an order. Such motivation is developed on the basis of deep passion, immersion in the process, passionate engagement with the idea. The leader himself always burns internally with what he strives for, and this fire is able to ignite activity in others, to force people to come close. This fire inside is based on conscious movement along the chosen path.

But this passion for leaders always goes hand in hand with an important skill. critically assess the situation and cope with problems, calculate risks without losing touch with reality … Anyone who fanatically delves into an idea, hovers in dreams and does not assume difficulties will not become a leader. Only understanding that any activity will cause difficulties, problems, and possibly failures can you move on.

- Ability to solve and prevent problems - an important trait resulting from life experience, ability to analyze, fortitude and responsibility.

- Responsibility - this is a trait that does not immediately manifest itself for others around the leaders, but it is the core. In the first case, when the one who was entrusted with the choice and power refuses to accept the results of his decision, referring to circumstances or blaming others, people will turn away, and there will be fewer followers. Usually, after several such incidents, no one is left around.
