Recently I got acquainted with the philosophy of a healthy cell in the context of greed. I decided to explore this philosophy. It turned out that it can be applied not only to greed, but to selfishness, altruism, love, service to others. Also, using the example of comparing healthy and diseased cells, it is interesting to observe the behavior of people in society.
What is this philosophy?
Any cell, first of all, must take care of itself. A healthy cell serves the good of the body and always gives more than it receives. If the cell receives what it needs for life, our organs and the body as a whole will be healthy. At the same time, a diseased cell (a cancer cell is taken as an example) destroys everything around it, and works to destroy it.
If we take the biological aspect, then the purpose of the lower is to serve the higher. Any phenomenon in this world is an integral part of a higher order system. Those. a person in society is like a cell in an organism. As a person is part of a family, clan, society, nation, country, so a cell is a part of tissues, organs, a certain system and the organism as a whole. Do not be frightened by the words lower, higher, service. In this context, they describe the scheme of interaction with each other.
Living in the philosophy of a healthy cell means, first of all, to direct your attention only to yourself, to satisfy your own needs, to give yourself what you need. Thinking about ourselves, changing ourselves, working on ourselves, putting ourselves on our feet, we heal our body. By this we set an example to others and begin to "infect" them with our health.
Developing in this direction, we realize that the only person who can really be influenced is ourselves. First, we provide ourselves. Then we help our relatives, then our inner circle. And then it depends on our inner potential and scope. We can extend our help to a city, country, continent, world. It is important to understand that such a philosophy leads to a state of abundance (inner, which we want to share), and opens up our resources and strength.
If we upset the balance, then it collapses in the system.
Excessive altruism or selfishness leads to destruction, which also begins with us. At first we cannot harmonize ourselves, and then we become toxic to others.
We cannot help people when we ourselves are not in the resource. At the same time, we also cannot be indifferent towards others when we have the opportunity. “Everything for myself”, “for me the most important thing is my interests”, exactly like “everything else”, “everything for children, family” - leads to self-destruction.
First of all, we must remember about ourselves, so that we can take care of those around us later. If we do not satisfy ourselves, a quality such as greed can manifest itself. Greed in the spiritual and material aspects. The first speaks of insufficient love, attention, self-care. The second is about how much we save on ourselves. Healthy greed is a signal that we are not giving ourselves, about a certain deficit in relation to ourselves. When greed turns into greed, the balance in the system is upset.
