In this article, I provide a step-by-step plan for planning their affairs for parents that they can teach their children. And I also describe two methods by which a child can control his or her affairs.

When a child goes to school, he has a lot of things that he often does not have time to do on time, stalls for time, doing homework until nightfall, does not have time for additional classes and circles. It is also not easy for a teenager to plan things: someone seriously goes in for sports and is constantly late for training, someone has tutors, additional clubs … The workload of modern children is increasing, but there is not enough time after school. What to do? You can help your child organize his every day correctly, instill in him responsibility for the things he has done.

The first step is to teach your child to WRITE down their deeds. You can do this in any notebook or buy a bright diary for your child, which he can decorate (with pictures, stickers, stickers) to his liking. Each case, even if it is insignificant (until it is "lost"), should be reflected in the diary. While the child is young, help him write down his affairs. If it is difficult for him to write, he can sketch out what he should do.

The second stage is the CORRECT FORMULATION of your goals. If a child writes down "call Tanya" or "turtle" in the diary, it is not entirely clear why you need to call Tanya and what needs to be done with the turtle (feed, clean up after her, change the water). Therefore, the record should be supported by an answer to the question: "why" or "for what purpose." For example, "call Tanya to find out your homework" or "clean up after the turtle." This will make it easier for the child to navigate his notes and immediately understand what needs to be done.

The third stage is the DIVISION of CASES into rigid and flexible. All that is necessary and necessary for a child to be done can be attributed to tough cases. For example, do your homework, music assignment, or extra English. For flexible activities, we will include a walk, meeting friends, making a phone call, caring for pets, reading books, and other games and hobbies. That is, everything that is not clearly tied to time belongs to flexible affairs. You can take your dog for a walk at 8 pm, or at 8.30 am, you can read a book before bed or immediately after completing your homework. The child must learn to understand and distinguish where matters require urgent intervention, and where they can wait. You can mark these two types of cases in different colors in the diary, or with some symbols so that the child can understand. And you can divide the sheet in half, in one column of which you write tough cases, and in the other flexible ones.

The fourth stage is TIME PLANNING. I repeat, modern children have a lot of things to do, you need to keep up with everything and everywhere. But it happens that various circumstances interfere with the execution of affairs. For example, we went to a dance, got stuck in a traffic jam, delayed from dancing for half an hour, talking with a coach, did not have time to call a friend, etc. Therefore, it is very important not only to plan things in time (opposite to each task we set the time to complete it, at least at first approximate), but also to leave intervals of free time between tasks. For all sorts of force majeure situations. If everything is in order, time is free, you can have a snack, watch a cartoon, take a walk before training, or call someone.

The fifth stage - try to teach your child NOT to LEAVE unfinished business. Otherwise, they accumulate, the child feels it and he does not have a desire (and motivation!) To complete his affairs in the following days. Act from a situation of success, praise for completed tasks, and then the child will have the desire to complete their affairs in a timely manner. He will see his results every day and rejoice in this that he could, could. And next time he can.

And in order to help the child see the results of his affairs, I offer you two methods of how this can be clearly done.

The first option is the game "Tic-tac-toe". We draw a square, as in the famous game. We write cases in each square. There should be nine of them. If you have done your job, you have put a cross (you can cross it out directly). And so on until all nine cells are done.

The second option - an adult or a child draws a little man walking to the right on a sheet of paper, after a certain distance to the right we draw some animal that the child will defeat, for example, a lion, a dragon or some mythical or cartoon character. Draw cells between them (according to the number of cases), did the job - painted over the cell, and so on, until we defeat the beast.

Parents, do not forget that you yourself are an important example in your child's life. Try to complete your affairs so that your child has the opportunity to learn from you, learn to implement all these five stages of planning, and you will see how much time is left for pleasant things, for the family and your beloved children!
