Often at seminars / trainings on the topic of financial success, they teach affirmations as a method of reprogramming yourself for greater success and greater income.

This does not work. But the idea is very popular.

As if all problems are in thoughts. Speak positive thoughts to yourself and you will change.

This is a highly simplified view of the human psyche.

Last week I worked with a client who went through money training and did all the homework, completely.

Six months have already passed - no changes in the area of self-esteem, as well as no changes in the area of income. Although there is an external opportunity to increase income.

The client's question: “Why has nothing changed? I tried so hard!"

The essence of the training can be summarized in several sentences:

- Find your beliefs about money. 5 questions were proposed.

- Reframe your beliefs to the opposite

- Read these affirmations for 40 days, plus do a visualization to attract money.

As a result, the client found about a dozen beliefs, wrote their opposite, and, using willpower, read 3 times a day for 40 days.

I pasted over different things in the house with new affirmations - a refrigerator, a wardrobe, put a screensaver on my desktop.

And another 15 minute daily meditation in which he bathes in money.

Six months have passed - money has not increased in his life.

I ask the client to give an example.

Belief: "Money spoils a person" rewrote to "Money makes a person better."

It seems that everything sounds logical. Why doesn't this affirmation work?

All this is spoken out at the level of thoughts (mind, logical part).

I ask: "Do you at least yourself believe in what you say?"

The client thought for half a minute: “No”.

The big difference between BELIEVE and THINK.

At the level of FAITH, there is a monetary belief in the form of a symbol that the presence of big money is somehow connected with the fact that a person is changing for the worse.

At the level of thoughts (mind), a person tries to introduce the opposite symbol. And of course it doesn't work. Faith is stronger than thoughts.

Instead of trying to reprogram a negative SYMBOL to a positive symbol, I suggest that the client RELEASE that symbol from the money / amount.

In the process of untiing, they found where he came from: in childhood, my mother's cousin began to earn more and became high-minded, arrogant, mean.

Parents linked these two facts into a causal relationship, so there was a conviction that “money spoils a person”. The family often talked about this, with reproach and censure of this relative.

For a client, a small child, it was imprinted in the subconscious. So there was a belief that this is so.

The increase in the amount of income has acquired a negative symbol.

Mom's words: “Son, do not be as arrogant as your uncle” unambiguously aroused the desire not to be like him. In the context of money - to earn, but not much.

In fact, money is money. No more and no less.

Banknotes are a specific product with a certain liquidity.

This product in paper or electronic form does not have any kind of power, authority or the like.

Money CANNOT “spoil a person”, just as it CANNOT “improve a person”.

After asking a series of expanding questions to the client, he remembered that his uncle was arrogant and arrogant and beforewhen I was still poor. It's just that when I became a big boss, it became more noticeable. This is just the difference.

So, my uncle was always high-class. As poor, as a little rich, as richer, as a major boss.

In fact, his arrogance, meanness and other qualities appeared in his childhood, and there were some reasons for this.

It does not correlate in any way with money / their amount.

As soon as this internal filter was removed, the person (suddenly) remembered that from the circle of acquaintances he knows two wealthy people who are benevolent and sincere. Before that, he had not noticed them.

It is done. The symbol is removed.

Money is money. Uncle - uncle by your shortcomings.

Increasing income is not equal to uncle. The increase in income is not equal to the qualities of an uncle. The increase in income is not equal to the fact that my mother will blame me.

Mom actually blamed her brother's negative qualities, not his income level.

I can be richer without having to be like my uncle.

I can earn more and have parental approval.

After these realizations, the work of persuasion is completed.

The belief is no longer valid.

Repeating some affirmations for months is completely unnecessary:)

Working with the real reasons - gives a quick and guaranteed result.
