Client - a young woman, happily married, a successful (but extremely insecure) employee of one office.
Session request: to work out the inability to defend their borders associated with the fear of being tough.
Stage one - clarifying the request through metaphor
I ask the client to present herself in a critical situation in allegories and pictures.
The client receives the following images …
1. She is shriveled, squeezed, defenseless, small.
2. Opposite her is something very frightening, threatening, big.
3. Her feelings are fear, helplessness, timidity.
The second stage is the clarification of the images with access to the source
I ask a client: does a frightening image speak in a male or female voice?
Answers - rude, masculine?
I ask the client to remember: were there any situations similar to a metaphor in the girl's previous experience; who from the past could be a frightening man from the image?
Immediately remembers - the father.
Clarifies:
- dad was a dictator; in critical situations, he could raise his hand (to her, to his brother, to his mother);
- mother and father are divorced; Recent relations (with both mother and father) are benevolent and even, but in childhood memories there is a lot of shyness and fears: it was forbidden to have one's own position, the optimal childhood strategy was total obedience, any manifestation of will was punished, with possible assault.
Stage three - working with the defining algorithm - healing distortions
In this case, I used my own - the author's method - "Psychological Mobius Tape" - a technique for correcting determining algorithms.
I'll leave a video for the readers and define a short healing algorithm.
1. Find and fix within yourself a sense of confidence, fearlessness, strength.
2. Feel your worth, independence, adulthood.
3. Strengthen the resource state.
4. From the position found, step into the past - into the situation of a defeated child, in order to protect the child, restore its boundaries and stop violations.
5. First of all, we turn to the raging father, calling him to spiritual responsibility for the consequences of such an attitude, we eliminate aggressive behavior by rethinking the algorithms.
Here I am reminded of a similar episode from the movie "The Butterfly Effect", I will cite …
6. Addressing a frightened child. We sit down next to him, press him to us. We console. We protect. We support.
The way it is done in the practices of working with the inner child. For example in this …

Protecting Psychological Boundaries Is The Responsibility Of The Person Himself
Man is a social being and needs the company of other people. However, in addition to sociality, there is such a trait as individuality. That is, each of us has our own interests, values, needs, which sometimes run counter to the interests, values and needs of other people.
Psychological Boundaries - Skin I
Imagine you have no skin. Most likely we would have crumbled. A million bacteria, microbes, substances will immediately penetrate into us, causing irreparable harm to organs and all systems. We would be everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
Exhaustion Of Cinderella. From Eternal Service To The Ball. / Algorithm For Solving One Psychological Query
Request for one of the current sessions (the case of today's consultation) : "I'm tired of the eternal service of my 3-year-old daughter; I got to the point where I break into a small child (since the little one does not let me go into a separate, personal space even at night);
From Frog To Princess. Metaphorical Transformation Of A Recent Psychological Session
From frog to princess. The story of a metaphorical transformation. Client N, a girl of less than 20 years old, turned to a consultation with a request to work out the behavioral (laid down by the influence of her mother) patterns of interaction with persons of the opposite sex, the essence of which was as follows:
Infertility As A Psychological Problem. Algorithm For Working With The Problem
Infertility is the inability to have children. While this concept is more commonly applied to women, it still applies to men. Infertility can be talked about when a person cannot get pregnant after 2 years of unprotected regular sex. If there were pregnancies, but ended in miscarriage, we can also talk about infertility.
