Addition to today's request. The client is raising the child alone; one manages the household; one solves the problems associated with the exchange of common matrimonial housing. Relations with the mother, included in some feasible help with the granddaughter, are not easy. The last period of time is extremely depleted.
Defining phrases of history. In the course of the story, the woman utters the following phrases many times: "service", "work", "business", "tired, but must", "I do not want to, but it must be so", "completely exhausted" and "I do not live my life" …
Scenario metaphor of conversion. Listening to the woman's story, I clearly imagine the following picture: how poor, beautiful Cinderella, struggling, "drags" an overwhelming labor "cart" on herself, becoming more and more exhausted. I suggest the client to try on this fabulous metaphor - does it respond to the woman's current scenario? The client confirms: "It is! She is the very Cinderella!"
Scenario-metaphorical solution of the client's case. Having received confirmation of the fabulous allegory that has arisen, I ask the client about the following:
"How did the story of Cinderella's tortured service come to an end?"
Answers: "Her trip to the ball!"
"Well, of course," I agree, "that is, by switching, relaxation, joy! What is this metaphorical hint for you?"
"About the fact that it is worth allowing yourself to relax in the whirlwind of work!"
"I totally agree with you! And note: the defining word in your answer: allow yourself, that is - give permission - do you agree?"
"Yes, - the client decides, - perhaps I do not mind - rest, joy, and some freedom!"
Plot-metaphorical practical solution key. I offer the client the following assignment: "Write a set of necessary permissions that you would like to give yourself and act out the dialogue between the Fairy and Cinderella in the practice of" Two Chairs ", in which the Fairy-Godmother transforms the" prohibitions "of Cinderella into her happy" permissions ", blessing the rights of the tortured service godchildren - for rest, joy and personal, separate happiness (and helpers in the implementation of these will certainly be found - the main thing is to allow yourself).
