This technique and its modifications can be effectively used to create a resource for the client that will allow him to reduce anxiety, relax, cope with stress and negative emotions

Take a few calm, deep breaths.

Close your eyes and continue to breathe normally. Imagine a picture of the place where you feel safely, calmly and happily … Imagine that you are standing or sitting there.

Can you see yourself there?

Use your imagination to look around. What have you noticed? What do you see next to you? Take a closer look at the details and peculiarities of things around you. What material are they from, what color? Imagine reaching out and touching them. How are you feeling?

Now let's look even further. What do you see around you? And further afield? Try to see different colors, shapes, and shadows. This is your special place, and you can imagine everything that you want to be there.

When you are there, you are calm and comfortable. Imagine your bare feet touching the ground.

What kind of ground does it feel? Walk slowly while observing your surroundings. Try to see how things look and how they feel. ; can you hear sounds?

Perhaps it is a gentle gust of wind or birdsong, or the sound of sea waves …

Can you feel the warm sun rays on your faces? Do you smell? Is it sea air or fragrant flowers or the aromas of your favorite food?

In your special place, you can see whatever you want

Now imagine that someone special is with you in your special place. Your good friend is there with you, who is ready to help you, someone strong and kind. He or she is willing to help you and take care of you.

Take another look around in your imagination. Take a good look at everything. Remember your special place. It will always be like this. You can always imagine that you are in this place if you want to feel calm, safe and happy.

Your assistants will always be there with you when you need them. Now get ready to open your eyes and leave your special place now. You can come back here whenever you want. As soon as you open your eyes, you will feel calm and happy.
