The hackneyed postulate “If you want to be happy, be it…” - for many it causes nothing but irritation, resentment or a feeling of imposed stupidity. Whether we notice it or not, in the depths of our souls, in response to this phrase, everyone awakens something of their own. Since no matter what a person wants, what he strives for, he always and with all his soul longs for only one thing … - happiness! And now, in front of him, instead of happiness … here is such a … frustrating construction of letters, just like the "candy" from the film directed by Georgy Danelia. - “Do you want a million? Go and get it!”; “Do you want to be the big boss? Well, become it …!”; “Do you want to reveal the question of the meaning of life? It couldn't be easier! " And where to get it, how to become and through what to reveal? … as well as many other questions, the postulating seo does not answer. And I want to say - "Uncle Petya, are you a fool?"

What is happiness? A very interesting moment, since on the one hand, it is individual for everyone, and on the other, it is common for everyone. Happiness is the realization (fulfillment) of the most cherished desires, the satisfaction of urgent or unconscious needs. For example, such as the need for love, for understanding, for respect, for a sense of their own dominance …, significance, and so on. Although, someone feels a surge of happiness after low tide in the sense of physiology - but this is about the levels of development of desire and basic needs. We are currently talking about a higher level. That is, happiness is a harmonious relationship with the surrounding reality. What is harmony? We can say that this is a state of some kind of balance, between "I" and … "others."

Sometimes they try to convey a state of harmony or balance through the experience of fulfillment, which gives the impression of receiving joy from life. But is it really so? If you take the scales and place on the right one more than an over-tightening sensation of what I am getting, then on the left one there will be an obviously understating sensation of what I am giving. Thus, when we say the word "balance", we are talking about a certain state of intrapsychic balance between receiving and giving; between receiving from reality, from life, from nature - from other people and giving … to them. Since you can realize your desires, that is, yourself (the highest step of Maslow's pyramid - the desire for self-realization and self-actualization) is possible only through interaction with other people.

Where do we experience all these states of fullness or happiness, or emptiness or resentment as feelings of not being given, that is, suffering from a lack of something? In your head? In body? Sometimes what is picking somewhere in the incomprehensible depth makes its way to the surface through sensations in the body - the so-called psychosomatics. But, again, not that … But where then? Exactly! In the psyche…. That is, in desire. And to be more precise, in the desire to receive - in the desire that requires its realization … filling.

In fact, you can talk endlessly about desire and intention. Behind these verbal forms lies an incomprehensible depth of meaning. So let's get back to what is on the surface. Thus, it will be easier to consider the phrase "If you want to be happy - be it", in the context of the novel by Miguel de Cervantes "Don Quixote". “But Don Quixote himself,” as some will note, “was not entirely normal … that is, he differed from the bulk of people living“in this world,”and therefore he saw this world through the prism of his perception as completely different. He had too rich imagination and developed imagination. " Yes! In this case, that's right! "So everyone laughs at him …!" - others will answer, generalizing. But … who is happier at the same time: seeing a beautiful lady in a pig-house and considering himself a knight, or someone who, in his desire for superiority through a sense of lack of greatness, makes fun of the "knight", calling him "crazy, fool or fool"?

With whom is it more pleasant for us to communicate …? With backward and narrow-minded people, with whose "geeks", in our opinion, we are superior in everything, taking ourselves out of the brackets? Or we are happier next to those whom we consider to be much better than ourselves in something, that is, we see in something superior, stronger, smarter, more powerful, which means we can learn from them or adopt something ? What category of people do we enjoy communicating with the most? Who are we reaching for? At the same time, why do we accuse exactly all sorts of unworthy "dullards and nonentities" that they did not give us something? Strange, isn't it? Why are you so unhappy if compared to others, you are so smart, kind, talented, merciful and fair? Maybe because they have something, but I lack something - I feel myself, next to them, deeply unhappy? Or, on the contrary, am I unhappy because I have something, but they do not have it … for example, mind?

But are they really that "bad" and am I that "good"? In general, what is “good” or “bad” and what is the main difference between them? “Good” is the one who meets my desires and satisfies my needs, and “bad” frustrates me, that is, causes suffering, in some way, does not satisfy me. Thus, it turns out that the assessment of the “other bad” is more than subjective, as well as the overestimation of the “good self”. In fact, no one wants another misfortune (evil), but everyone wants happiness (good) for themselves. So maybe in order to be happier it is just worth trying to change your perception?

Although … here, too, you can express to me with a heavy reproach in my heart: it is easy to say change! How to change?! This is how I can see in someone whom I consider a half-wit, to see an equal or even more … - to discern someone who is superior to me in some way? But you can't tell about this already in the format of one post, since for everyone the desire for happiness is common and one, but at the same time for everyone it is individually different.
