Sometimes there are doubts about the advisability of experiencing some emotions, sharing them with another person. Sometimes there are doubts about the advisability of some actions.
It should be noted that this can be both in real life and in therapy when working with a psychologist.
How do we stop ourselves? Any thoughts, more often than not. And the emotions that follow these thoughts.
It seems to us that nothing new will happen, that we all know in advance, we foresee everything and nothing in these fantasies of ours can please and cheer us, motivate us.
In fact, and this has been repeatedly tested in practice, and not only by me, far from everything, if not practically everything, does not lend itself to such speculative cognition. And this is the key idea of this article.
When we manage to sincerely live something, when we manage to do something new, which was not easy to do, then, after this, completely new facets of being open up, which we could not even imagine, new experience, new feelings arise, ideas, thoughts, new mood, new relationships with oneself and people. In general, something is changing in life. In life, there is a feeling of this very life, movement, new horizons are opening.
Yes, it can be difficult to get started. And to live the way we live, in some cases, is it really that simple? Comfortable, familiar? Yes. But somewhere in the depths of the soul, or even not at all in the depths, there is a feeling that something could be different, different. Can this really be called "simple"? This is about some kind of self-deception, which can hardly sincerely please and inspire.
So why wait? Why postpone? It's time to let something new into your life right now. It's time! May there be more time for the new! There is no need to reduce its time frame, postponing everything and putting off important things for later. After all, then, you can turn back and regret the wasted years. It’s good if it’s not a deep old age … But nevertheless, it’s better not to delay, as it seems to me) What do you think? Or will we wait for now?
As always, I look forward to your responses in the comments!
I apologize for not reacting right away, not on the same day. As soon as I have a free minute, I try to answer everything at once.
Thank you for your attention! And see you soon!

Wheel Of Change
In order to understand a problem, it is not enough to admit that it exists; we also need to evaluate all the possible options that are available to us. In terms of change, we have options. I suggest using a graphical tool - the wheel of changes (shown in the picture) by Marshal Goldsmitt.
Kill The ELK In Yourself Or How To Change Your Thinking To Change Your Life
I usually write informative and analytical articles, but today I want to share my thoughts and invite you to discuss. Over the course of this year, I have seen thousands of articles in the “Don't complain, thank you!” Style. And to be honest, I feel a lot of anger about it.
Organizational Change Based On Arnold Beisser's Paradoxical Theory Of Change
To begin with, it is important to say a few words about A. Beisser's theory of change. In the original language, it reads as follows: change occurs when someone becomes who he is, but not when he tries to become who he is not … Change does not occur as a result of forced attempts by an individual to change or another person to change him, it occurs if the individual spends time and effort to be who he is - i.
How Easy Is It To Change And Change?
Each psychologist has some "own" topic that arouses the greatest interest in him. For me, for example, this is development, movement forward, changes. Recently, I have been drawing particular inspiration in this direction from myths, analytical psychologists and, of course, my clients.
Illusion In Therapy: "I Will Change And The World Will Change"
Somewhere in the therapy came the myth that if I “work out” and change, then the whole world around me will change and everything in my life will automatically become good by itself. There is some truth in this, but things are not quite what many people think.
