The only way to make the inner text disappear is to exhaust it.

Recently, it has become very common and fashionable to Meditate and engage in Spiritual practices. And I, as a Coach, in the process of individual work, often offer my clients the practice of meditation as homework. To pause and stop in our "crazy, crazy, crazy world", to learn to be silent, listen and hear yourself, for the skill of managing your omnipresent inner dialogue and your states, to increase awareness.
And this is the most basic, entry level.
Of course, not for going to the Astral.
But lately I have noticed a bad trend.
Some people, moreover very talented, quite conscious and potential, practicing psychologists, coaches, coaches of various directions - substitute reality with meditations and spiritual practices. They pack and "wrap up in candy wrappers" what is, but what "does not suit", "does not fit the image", "evokes unpleasant emotions and memories" (emphasize the necessary, add the missing) and stay in "type" of other spaces.
And as if everything is in order. The key here is "HOW IT WAS".
It's just a substitution. Compensation
And childhood trauma in the first place. There is also a second, third, fourth … But this is the topic of another article.
Now I would like to recall a simple psychology course
Elementary knowledge that all eminent and seriously practicing psychologists, coaches, and coaches certainly possess.
I still dare to believe that before starting the practice of counseling with people and making psychological counseling or coaching their profession, colleagues may not receive a higher education (although this is the correct and logical option in this case), but at least get acquainted with the basics of psychology and of how a person is arranged, his psyche. What stages of development does a person go through and what happens if he "does not pass" them? So we proceed from the presupposition that colleagues are familiar with the basic principles and basis of psychology.
So that's it. There is such a concept - Compensation. And spiritual practice is a wonderful compensation mechanism
We remember. The basic need of a newly born child (we will leave prenatal stories, because this is also a separate topic) is needed only one thing - a feeling of total acceptance, a feeling of basic security and unconditional love. All the child's attention is unconsciously directed outward - in search of someone from whom he can receive this love and acceptance. And receive.
These are the pre-rational stages of development of our "I". First, the basic one is symbiotic. And then - impulsive. Ken Wilber also wrote about them in his writings on Spiral Dynamics. And, according to my observations, many “Russian” practices of “spiritual practices” and meditations simply compensate for childhood traumas and “getting stuck” in these phases of development by going into a parallel reality.
Some go further, leave for a geographically different reality, which is also fashionable today. More often to India, calling it "to meet with Myself."
People!!! You ALREADY have it
A priori. How you were born. They just lost some of the keys. But you cannot find this key in any reality other than the one in which you lost it. Where can you?
That's right, they usually find where they left. In childhood.
Mom and Dad.
And to integrate these early non-integrated and traumatized parts, it is not meditation that is needed, but psychotherapy. With a good competent Master of his craft, who is familiar with the stages of development, compensation mechanisms and knows how to work with hyphenation.
Everything else is just an illusion. And it does not solve the problem itself
Spiritual practice and Meditation with an unprocessed inner Ego remains just a "wrapper". And the inner dissatisfaction with oneself grows from time to time, because inside we still know and perfectly realize that this is not true.
Yes, meditation helps us know ourselves as more than our ego. But for this we must first form a healthy and strong Ego. Realize it. To accept. And love. It is impossible to transcend what you are not familiar with and do not control.
So that's it. If you have been practicing for a long enough time and have not yet become enlightened, if there are grievances, discontent, claims to yourself or to the world, if there are unresolved and “unsolvable” questions, then there is a high probability that some split-off, traumatized childish parts of your I have turned your Practice and Meditation in a Simple Compensation Mechanism.
And if you do not have a Teacher, Coach, Master, with whom you are in constant personal contact and individual work, who can mirror this and help you work through, then this probability is extremely high.
As well as a very high probability that when the Teacher begins to return and show this to you, you will hate him and leave. Instead (or as once from) their parents.

DRAWING PRACTICES OF PSYCHOTHERAPY AND SELF-AID. Part 3
Picturesque practices of psychotherapy satisfy the most fundamental human need - the need to be a creator, an artist, that is, the need for self-actualization. Art therapists argue that if you engage in drawing practices regularly, then a person will become free from negativity and will become a more harmonious person.
Why Spiritual Practices Don't Work
When we talk about spirituality, we usually mean that the world is not limited to what can be perceived with the help of the body. That the world is something more, and beyond the limits of our perception this more exists by itself, in itself, forming an independent dimension of the world - the spiritual.
Procrastination And Personality (Scientific Evidence And Best Practices)
Procrastination and stress. Scientific evidence supports the expected conclusion: People are more likely to avoid tasks that cause disgust. That is, unpleasant tasks are often postponed. Scientists have also found that people under stress are more likely to procrastinate.
