As you know, only three books from the legacy of Leopold Szondi have been translated into Russian. Only in 2017, the scientific division of the Research Institute "International Fate Analytical Society" under the leadership of Oleg Viktorovich Maltsev translated the 4th book "I am Analysis", which Sondi himself considered the key.
The book “I am Analysis” is a holistic system of depth psychology, in which Szondi collected the views of philosophers, psychologists, geneticists, mystics and other specialists on the “I” of man.
"I am Analysis" is an encyclopedia for modern psychology, and not a simple book for perception and penetration into its depth, so I decided to devote this article to the problems of parsing the book "I-Analysis" by Leopold Szondi. Perhaps it will save those who are just starting to study it from mistakes, and will serve as a guide for those who have already lost their initial fervor to unravel the secrets of this fundamental work. I, as the head of the Research Institute "International Fate-Analytical Community", would like to share with you my impressions of "Self-analysis" and how I understood the content of this book.
Immediately I would like to note what pitfalls lie in wait for a person who first begins to get acquainted with the "Self-analysis". As you already know, Leopold Szondi wrote this book with the aim of integrating all schools of psychology into a single depth psychology. He believed that its division into separate parts is the cause of various misconceptions and leads scientists away from the true understanding of the problem. When a person begins to study the book "Self-Analysis", he may also be tempted to pass its content through the prism of his beliefs acquired in the course of studying a separate area of psychology or other science. This method deprives a person of seeing the whole picture, which devalues for him the "I-analysis", which actually contains deep secrets about the human phenomenon.
I would like to warn you against one more mistake, which I almost did not make at the initial stage of my acquaintance with the “Self-analysis”. When we read a book, we have the peculiarity of taking what is written literally. However, what we see does not always have the meaning we are used to. This book, like many other similar scientific works, is written in a certain way. And if you literally take its content, it does not reveal its secrets. In fact, this is a kind of cipher that requires decryption. And in order to carry it out, a special technique and meters are needed, which would make it possible to check the correctness of the conclusions drawn. This is how this book was analyzed by the scientific department in our research institute. Without such an approach, many fundamental works remain for most people to gather dust on the shelf, like collections of complex terms that are not of interest.
The book "Self-Analysis" is not only of interest to science, it is written about man and for man. So that each of us can find in it the answers to questions about our destiny, about our purpose, be able to free ourselves from addictions and become what he so passionately wants to become.
The book substantiates the need for Applied Science, and I can say that without Oleg Viktorovich and the tools of Applied Science, it is simply impossible to understand and understand the depth of what has been written.
