Living the way most people live is boring and uninteresting. Boring, because this is the life (or rather, not life, but existence) of the victim. And it is not interesting, since the existence of the victim is devoid of its own goal-setting. All goals are “lowered from the top” through social programming. Through parents, conversations of friends and acquaintances, books, films, social networks, TV shows, YouTube videos, glossy covers and so on and so forth. And the crown of such an unprepossessing existence is the wonderful saying "Maxim died, and to hell with him."

But you just don't want to. I would like something different!

First, it is also the main reason why your life is no different from the life of other people is that you think the same as they do and believe in the same as they do. In other words, you have the same "firmware" (I talk in detail about the "firmware" in my intensive course "Manage development"). And this "firmware", which is installed in your unconscious, defines everything in general. Your day-to-day and strategic decisions. Your thoughts, preferences, actions, words and actions. Which product will you choose in the store. Whether you spot a good opportunity or pass by. Firmware is the lens through which you look at the world. You can also call them unconscious attitudes.

It is clear that, perceiving reality through these "lenses", you see not what really exists. You do not notice the most important thing. You don't notice the facts. Instead of them, you see various illusions, interpretations, assumptions and other shizu, which you CANNOT rely on in the process of taking any actions and making decisions. Even in the process of thinking it is impossible.

Unable to see the facts and the relationships between them, you make logical mistakes. And instead of luck and success in your life, you get continuous "shoals", "fucking", conflicts, disappointments, failures and defeats. And in the end you find yourself in a pit of life.

Get out of the "comfort zone"

The second reason is your body's low-energy mode of functioning. Roughly speaking, you only have enough energy to carry out some daily tasks and duties, and happily relax, sitting at a computer or burying your face in your smartphone.

From the point of view of the body, such a regime is very beneficial. Energy is not wasted, which means that no effort is needed to generate and maintain it at a higher level. That is, you do not need to run somewhere, discover something, conquer, fight off others, stir up some campaigns and projects, make turmoil and fuss, but you can simply drown your ass in an armchair, hide with a blanket and turn on a computer game on your computer, or favourite TV show. Or just see what others are posting on social media.

Since the less energy an action requires, the more comfortable it is to do it, over time it becomes a habit and the corresponding neural connections are formed and strengthened in the brain. It is they who create the notorious "comfort zone", i.e. area of passive behavior. And the “ideological” substantiation of the “correctness” of this kind of behavior is the corresponding inadequate attitudes towards life - “everyone owes me”, “affirmations will help me”, “if you tune in correctly, then everything will happen by itself”, results”, belief in“manna from heaven, a magician on a blue helicopter, a pike and a generous universe, a saucer with a golden border”.

A person with such views on life at all times was called a simple and understandable word - goof. The opposite of a sucker is the master of his own life. One who lives for a reason.

How to become your own master

To become the master of yourself, your life, your destiny, you need to have (and, in its absence, set) an independent goal. The goal that is necessary for you, and not in order to prove something to someone, or because everyone around only says that you need to have a high goal. And when you have such a goal, then there is a direction in which you need to move. The Path appears. And you begin to live and be not just like that, but for the sake of realizing the plan of your own goal. And then every moment of your life, every step, deed, action you take begins to fill with real meaning. And this gives a special feeling of integrity and fullness of one's own being.

But in order to translate the goal into reality, one intention is not enough.

You need to change yourself. Change your "firmware", getting rid of unconscious attitudes that prevent you from adequately perceiving the world and seeing a lot, a bunch, a million possibilities of how to move forward on the path to achieving your goal. For example, to get rid of the attitude that there is no need to take risks or from the blind belief that only money can solve emerging problems.

In addition, you should switch to the second, that is, the active mode of energy functioning, and instead of passively sitting on your butt, waiting for a "miracle" ("I'll get a chance tomorrow, then I'll turn around!"), Start changing the world using the strategy of small but consistent and daily steps. And while the asshole who hopes and believes that something will fall from the sky to him now (they invite him to a cool project, give him a post, allocate money, etc.), will be in his erotic dreams, you will take 30 steps in a month, and in six months - 180. And these steps will lead you to a specific result.

How to learn to manage yourself

Even in order to learn how to simply live, you need to be able to manage yourself.

What does it mean?

This means as often as possible, and it is desirable to constantly be in a special state. This condition is called "healthy indifference". This is a state when you stop reacting nervously, unpleasantly and emotionally to everything, but calmly, confidently and rationally look at reality.

► You understand what you need and what you don't need.

► You freely say "no" if what is offered to you is not in your interests.

► You do not react to external stimuli, but create them yourself.

► You are in control of circumstances and situations, not letting them control you.

► You do what you want, not what you need to do.

► You allow yourself to think differently.

► You live and act according to your preferences, not to “fit”.

This is real freedom - to live as you want, to move where you yourself decided and to satisfy only your natural, and not imposed and artificial needs.

And in order to become a truly free person who knows how to live and live for a reason, you need to gain this freedom from within, having uncreated at the level of the unconscious all the ideas, postulates and attitudes that somehow limit this freedom. This is not done overnight. This is also a process that requires a series of sequential steps. There are no quick results, but there are results that can be obtained faster.

A decisive leap into a new life

In any sphere, including the sphere of managing one's own life, the sphere of the ability to live can be entered in two ways.

By the dilettante and by the student.

In the first case, you can read dozens of bad books, go to the top, decide that “only eggs are cooler than me” and, reveling in your own awesomeness, imitate real work, posing as a “pro” and “a real master” who is knee-deep in the sea …And so it can last for years. Until reality turns on the "answer" and makes "sober up from alcoholic intoxication" of their own lies.

Or find a Guide. Assistant. A person who professionally owns the topic. Who has gone a certain way, made the prescribed number of mistakes and knows, if not all, then the main pitfalls in this area.

If you are an intelligent person, then, without hesitation, choose the second path. Why add extra bumps, reinvent the wheel and waste time and energy where you can do without it?
