Live Courageous Values

Anya woke up in the morning with an alarm clock. The mood is not very good. After spending a legal five minutes in bed, she trudged to the bathroom. Thoughts in my head were spinning the same, amusing themselves in sad round dances. Something like: “Again twenty-five … Next month I will definitely quit … I have to pay for the apartment … I'll save up and leave. Honestly, I'm leaving. Maybe in half a year or a year … Today you need to buy food and the cat needs sand to go to the toilet … His back is aching … Two cigarettes are left, I could only hold out …"

Anya worked somewhere where her parents wanted. Someone who does a lot of important things, but what is their importance, she was able to fully understand. That is why a yawning emptiness crept into my soul, which fell on Anya every morning and every evening when she was left alone with herself.

Anya is 26, she is beautiful, intelligent and educated. A month ago, she ended a long romance, and her soul was tormented by ambivalent feelings. On the one hand, she was sad and anxious that she had not been able to build a family. After all, she is already 26! Friends from school and university got married one after another, children have already given birth. Parents added fuel to the fire: "We want grandchildren!" On the other hand, for some reason it became so easy and free for her. As if she was breathing deeply again after removing the tight corset. But she breathed with apprehension: what if someone noticed that she was not completely killed by the failed groom, what would they think then?

Anya came to work. Then nine hours of her life disappeared somewhere. She did everything automatically - well, clearly, as if she herself was an automaton. At lunchtime, I chatted with employees. About nothing. On the way home, the girl suddenly thought that her whole life was “about nothing”. No one will ever write a line about her, make a film, or stage a production in a theater. Her life is so insipid! Anya just physically felt this freshness in her mouth and therefore quickly went to the store and bought a bag of salted fish. And then she sat on a bench not far from the house and tried to fill all her taste buds with salt. “Feel nothing more. Only salt … Only salt …"

Anya was really smart. And even though at that moment she was unhappy with her life, she knew that this could be changed. But why she did not manage to live the way she would like, she did not understand. And the girl turned to a psychotherapist. She was a little ashamed to ask a stranger for help. Moreover, none of her entourage knew anything about psychotherapists except that they sit in offices, listen, nod and take a lot of money for it. But she took a chance.

Anya woke up in the morning with an alarm clock. The mood peered out from the depths of the subconscious with apprehension and had not yet decided how it would come out into the world. It feared that if she again showed herself in her usual gray attire, Anya would start chasing him with a broom and throwing various plans to improve this very mood. The usual dull thoughts in my head tried to spin at their own pace. But Anya for some reason ignored them. The negative thoughts got tired of spinning around and left. After spending a legal five minutes in bed, she trudged to the bathroom. I stopped halfway and did a little exercise. The mood decided to change into something fresh. The girl smiled goodbye at herself in the mirror and went to work. After work, Anya planned to go to the theater, and on the weekend - a trip out of town with friends. In her free time, Anya began to read books and bake cakes.

Anya is 31. She is still beautiful and smart. She lives in a small cozy town and has her own children's culinary school. And also the husband and the baby in the tummy. She knows why she wakes up in the morning. She does not smoke and immediately goes for a massage if her back suddenly hurts. Anya believes in magic. The magic of psychotherapy. After all, once she had the courage to ask for help. She wanted to live her life meaningfully, happily and fruitfully.

What happened during psychotherapy? You can't describe it in a nutshell. But here's a hint: live with courage and values.
