Have you ever faced a state when you don't want anything or everything is annoying? Usually, in such situations, our condition can be characterized by the capacious expression "squeezed lemon". But after all, the matter does not end only with exhaustion. At such moments, we very stylishly feel our helplessness, weakness, we are in pain. As they say, the soul hurts.
This state of a person can be called an emotional crisis or a nervous breakdown, whoever likes it, but this does not change the essence. The reasons for such manifestations of feelings and emotions can be very different. Fatigue at work, discord in relationships with a loved one, emotional loneliness (no one to share with), this is not a complete list of possible reasons.
Often it is the return to these reasons, thoughts about them, and experiences that cause a person even more suffering. They not only hurt him, but can also force him to change his attitude towards life in general. A person in this state experiences almost complete helplessness. And in addition to this, people often, in such conditions, begin to devalue themselves.
It is really very painful, and it is unlikely that it will be possible to stop or get out of this state with a snap of the fingers. However, there is one very, in my opinion, an important point that is worth relying on. It's about self-respect. After all, respect is the recognition of one's own merits. Of course, in such a situation, it is very difficult to think about your merits, I know this, both from my own experience and from the experience of people who turn to me.
During such experiences, people very often forget that what happened to them, and caused the crisis, is not their whole life. We have such a peculiarity to convince ourselves of something, moreover, this ability, in a state of crisis, plays a very cruel joke with a person. Attention is focused only on the negative. And accordingly, such concentration does not allow a person to look from a different point of view.
If we imagine this in the form of a metaphor, then a person looks at his life and himself from the basement. How much can you see from the basement? When a person remembers self-respect, then inevitably he has to remember his achievements, and, accordingly, climb, if not to the roof of his house of life, then at least to the first floor. Agree that the view from the first floor is better than from the basement, and, therefore, there are more opportunities to be seen.
As a rule, a crisis leads to the fact that a person changes. But, here is where, in which direction (will become stronger or weaker), a person can change, largely depends on how much he is able to respect himself.
Self-respect is very important for any person, because in many respects it depends on him what quality a person's life will be. And above all, respect is based on the acceptance of a person as he is. After all, each person is unique in their own way and deserves a happy life.
