"Have you solved the 'time management' riddle for yourself?"

Here's a tricky question that came to me in the comments under the post about my TV series about PRL).

I think that my tactical arsenal for strategic planning can be useful not only for people with borderlines, but also for people with strong associative thinking.

First

I taught myself at least sometimes in the eveningmake an approximate plan for tomorrowplanning OBLIGATIONin which I will deal with these matters.

Why sequence and not time?

I noticed that I have the "jump-in-the-train-out" superpower. I think that a lot of people with borderline features will notice if they observe themselves, with what ease they juggle events in time trouble, adjusting, squeezing in and having time where it seemed impossible to be in time.

Therefore, I need time only when it is a "fixed point": the departure of the train, the closure of the institution, the deadline. I can shuffle events 10 times on the go, do 3 things at the same time and in the end … / be late for the train 😅 but we made it!) / And in the end everything is fine)

Therefore, a box with puzzling tasks for tomorrow (week) in the form of a to-do list, hard-hitting deadline flags, and not only everyone will get wet.

Second

Chaotic time management is very good the diary helps, where I write in loose cases, so that at a glance - to remember. This is effective because it uses the very same associative connections, trained to automatism.

And be sure I cross out what I have done, and if I do something from not written in - write downand right there cross out … At the same time, the most powerful therapeutic effect, when it covers that he did nothing, looked at the notes and "aha, look, how much has already been done!"

Third

Planning a trip, especially on an unfamiliar route, I look at how much time Google spends on it with the transport I need, and then I throw about 20-30 minutes for inconsistencies. It helps a lot.

If you are still late: CONTACT USwith those who are waiting for you, and WARN! This will help the other person to find their way, perhaps he will not be able to wait for you as long as necessary, or he will adjust his plans, or maybe he is late himself and there is no need to rush)

Fourth

Alarm clocks … Dozens of alarms for calls, deadlines, regular events, the time when you have to go to bed, so as not to cosplay a zombie in the morning. If nature has also rewarded you with insensitivity to hunger: alarms for feeding. At least in the format of an unobtrusive reminder in the Google calendar half an hour-15 minutes-5 minutes before the conventional "devouring" hour …

Fifth

Conscious(not) multitasking.

The trick is that a person is a single-core computer. And it imitates "multitasking" in the same way as Intel of the first generation - very fast switching between tasks.

For some reason, I work best in this "multitasking" mode, setting 3-4 tasks in the preortity (I add the text, answer the chat, look through the notifications in the FB). Since my attention is still jumping, I'll use it to my advantage. Accordingly, I will not stick tightly in FB (but I will not miss something important either), I will at least write something in an article and answer a friend who has a question or just wants to chat …

Sixth

Get yourself human(or several), who knows how to time management and is ready to kick you on especially important issues. At work, this function can be performed by your immediate boss … In an ideal world of tolerance, heh …

Last but not least(who finished reading, that fellow!))

Useyour strong point: associative thinking … Make notes everywhere, the most important thing is that you can write on the back of your hand or your wrist. Write down ideas, desires, feelings, impulses, insights, plans for tomorrow-week-month-year / gods, how those people who plan for a year live, I don't understand /.

And you don't even have to write everything, just write "anchor" - a word that will pull out the information you need: the surname of the person you are meeting, "food", if you forget to buy a food for your favorite cat, and so on …

- - -

Here, somehow I built my "chaos management", because time management is clearly not suitable here)

And, as one dragon told me today: "I am the queen of chaos, but with a calm flow of time, I am a surprisingly disorganized person";)

I subscribe to every word. I am driven by haste, the feeling "everything is gone, chef!"

But, alas, over time it starts to tire, and I get tachycardia from too much coffee …

Not to mention the fact that, despite the superpowers, not all the cars can jump, as a result …

Try, experiment, find your own ways to control chaos, share them, for me this is very important)

Shl. The beginning of this opus was written on the train, into which we managed to fly 30 seconds before departure … Well, Schaub, you understood how much you should trust my advice 🤣
