Now a lot of people are looking for a mission, vocation, life's work, and the like. In the hope that now I will find the Work of Life, and life will change. It will become interesting, fun, exciting, and God knows what else.
That's just the trouble.
The search for a destination is, of course, a necessary thing. Of course, if you have a talent for drawing, and you work as a secretary, then it's somehow stupid to ignore the talent. And the emotional state suffers in this case.
But!
Purpose is purpose, and skills are separate.
If you do not know how to present yourself, sell, promote, etc., then you need to learn this. Master the skill. If you think that one day you will find some kind of mega-talent and everyone will find you, buy and promote you, then you can be very mistaken. More precisely, there is such a chance, of course. But it is small. And if you wait until they come to find you and tell everyone around you how cool you are, then you can wait a long time. A very long time. Life can go by.
If you do not know how to bargain with customers and name your price, then you need to learn this. Well, there is, of course, the option that having become rich and famous, you can hire someone who will bargain for you. But to become rich famous, whatever one may say, you need to be able to bargain and name the price. Then you can hire whoever you want. That is, no options.
If you do not know any foreign language, but dream of living in another country … Well, I think the essence is clear.
Of course, ideally everything looks like this. I find the Work of Life or Purpose, I prescribe goals for it and rush to my goals confidently, like an army of brave Vikings in an attack on the enemy.
This is the ideal. It's just that it rarely happens in life.
That is what I want to say. Of course, you need to look for your own business. Now the world is so generous and diverse that it would be a sin not to take advantage of it. Anything is possible - you just need to know what you want.
Just know what you want and have the skills to achieve what you want - things are different.
And if it's really a gag, and it's completely incomprehensible what you want in this life, then you can do at least something. To do sports. To swing the ass. Chinese to teach. To master oratory. Negotiation. Anything else.
You look, and the work of life will be drawn.
And it will not be drawn - so well, at least the priest will be pumped up or learned Chinese. Already a joy.
