In the 30s of the last century, according to the documents (case No. 274), a fantastic fact took place: the chronic alcoholic and pathological executioner turned into a fine-looking writer. We are talking about the commander of one of the detachments of special forces Arkady Golikov. After being sentenced to execution by a special commission headed by the battalion commander ChON Ya. A. Vittenberg for atrocities against the civilian population of the Achinsk district of the Yenisei province, A. Golikov survived. The death penalty was commuted to treatment in a psychiatric hospital. The 18-year-old sadist was taken to a psychiatric hospital, then to another, a third … This continued until the incurable patient ended up in the Kharkov neuropsychiatric dispensary. The founders of world hypnology and clinical psychiatry, such as Alexander Luria, a student of Vygotsky, and Konstantin Platonov, a student of Bekhterev, worked here. One invented the lie detector and created the science of neuropsychology, and the other introduced the concept of hypnotherapy into clinical science and founded social psychology. Both at that time were engaged in questions of the authenticity of personality transformation under the influence of hypnosis. Obviously, the intractable murderer turned out to be a suitable model, otherwise how to explain the fact of the complete transformation of Golikov? Dull anger disappeared, calm observation appeared. A man who did not like to hold a pen in his hands (A. Golikov was charged, among other things, with unwillingness to do paperwork - to keep records of interrogations and sentences), began to write stories and stories. Thus was born Arkady Gaidar, whose books were republished in all languages of the world more than a thousand times
Where did the Chonovite Arkasha Golikov, sentenced to death, go, the memory of whose atrocities is still alive in Khakassia? As a practicing hypnotherapist, I decided to find the answer to this question in the most reliable way - experimentally. Two personalities are a phenomenon described a hundred times in special literature. Another thing is suggestion, which is capable of acting after exiting hypnosis. After all, we are talking about endowing a person with inclinations and values that should maintain the role of an imperative throughout his life.
I selected volunteers who are easy to hypnosis, but there was no result. Conventional hypnosis did not allow the suggestion to last longer than its duration. Then I decided to give hypnotic attitudes in a state of amnesia (unconsciousness). I immersed the volunteers in an amnesic trance and the next day my charges, like cute little ones, did everything that was asked to them while they were unconscious: they sent SMS, transferred money, did what was entrusted. They performed the same thing a week later, if the suggestion contained an indication of the corresponding day of the calendar. The only thing that worsened the statistics of the result was the principles and education of its participants. If the task was in conflict with the internal attitudes of the person, then it was not carried out. The same is true for tasks that are too troublesome to complete. It turned out that the subjects, having stumbled upon difficulties, quickly found reasons not to follow the subconscious mindset. With suggestions of a physiological nature (like "your hands are glued together"), things were worse - their effect after exiting hypnosis was barely observed, and if it did take place, it was not for long. At best, two to three hours.
Reflecting on how to make a hypnotic setting an imperative, I drew attention to the fact that Golikov's unexpected passion for writing manifested itself against the background of psychosomatic disorders that accompanied him all his life. In other words, the Kharkiv luminaries for some reason did not completely rid Golikov of his problems. Did not work out? Or didn't you want to?
