When we speak of a "narcissist" person, we at least make a rough assumption, since we do not consider this concept within the spectrum of this problem. Sometimes it's nice to be a narcissist, oddly enough.

After all, many achievements require an all-consuming involvement in the race, and here narcissistic qualities will not only not interfere, but will be a big plus. But this is in the case when a person, having come home or talking with friends, takes off the guise of a cold and calculating careerist, which he flaunts at work.

It happens that the same person begins to gradually migrate within the narcissistic spectrum, that is, increasingly shows signs of behavior characteristic of a narcissist, but already in the family, in communication with loved ones. Moreover, such a metamorphosis is characterized by the absence of pity for others, regret for their actions.

Further - more, a person, blinded by his achievements in the profession and the lack of resistance in the family, or among close people, begins to think about himself God knows what, and finally becomes impudent. Such a change usually manifests itself in arrogant phrases, in pompous, provocative behavior.

Narcissists then begin to involuntarily manifest themselves in a wider spectrum. This can be defiant behavior in public places, travel, on vacation. And now, when a large amount of communication has been transferred to the virtual space, daffodils, expanding their range, tend to troll and offend other people on the Internet in every possible way. Often they are completely unfamiliar to them, and for no reason at all - in social networks, on other resources.

The extreme degree of migration of the narcissist within the neurotic spectrum of this personality disorder will be direct withdrawal into aggression. So, the demonstration of one's own significance and originality begins to acquire a character that is dangerous to others.

All of the above stages of narcissism may or may not appear in one person. Or each shade of the narcissistic spectrum is inherent in initially different people. But when we say the word "narcissist", easily sticking this label on a close or familiar person, we must be aware that this concept is very ambiguous and multifaceted, and requires at least psychodiagnostics of a specialist.
