Mentality is more than a way of thinking, it is broader and deeper
I see so many and often completely different people, hear their stories, touch their pain. Together with our clients we work a lot, we search, we find, we learn to lose, we live, we open our horizons. But, when the seemingly current problems “settled” and the Person can go further, every time in the therapeutic work we come across the same thing: what values to take as a basis, what to build our perception of, how to be a part of society and remain an individual how to finally find your niche in life and become a part of something greater than ourselves. We run into Mentality.
It is more than a way of thinking, it is broader and deeper. It is about the organization of a person's life, it is about what he breathes, what he is guided by, where he moves, what he relies on. And here is the trouble. The trouble is, because to take from the grandfather-great-grandfather, from the clan, not much comes out. Past generations lived with slogans and ideas that do not fit into our realities. European and American values do not lie either - wrong soul, wrong blood, wrong roots.
We have a lot of generosity, self-sacrifice, dignity, inner strength, authenticity, wisdom, depths that have not yet been formed into a cultural vertical, to which one could turn, enrich ourselves, draw inspiration and knowledge. There is no this. There is no support. And this is what I see as the task of you and me, everyone living in our country. To form the mentality of a Ukrainian, to form, taking the best from the ancestors, to fill more economically developed countries with new meaning and pass it on to new generations. Who will teach our children, who will pass on the spiritual values of our people with Mother's milk - only we ourselves.
We need to teach our children to take care of themselves, about their souls, about the body, not to betray themselves, to seek help without feeling defective at the same time, to build deep emotional connections, even if it threatens with pain and parting, to recheck and question knowledge and authorities, and not yourself as a person, to love without collapsing and not destroying another, to withstand oneself in one's imperfection, to accept others in their imperfection, to be proud of their roots, to remember and honor the family tree, to be a support and find something to rely on for oneself … I want to invest in this portrait.
I dream so much that our people, our nation would have enough strength and wisdom to find a middle ground for all extreme manifestations and start thinking about what will remain after us, who will remain and with what will the new Ukrainians go into the world, will they have something to share with the world, will there be anything to offer, what to teach, what position to occupy on the globe.
I think about it every day. I know many who, like me, take a small step every morning towards the formation of a mentality among large and small residents of our country
What do you think? How else to complement the mentality of a Ukrainian? How great it would be for me to know that you also care and that we are at the same time with you!

Psychotherapy Of A Psychotherapist, Or Why Long-term Psychotherapy With One Therapist Is Always More Effective
An article about what would be great if everyone had their own psychologist! I just want to share my thoughts. I think that the world would be calmer, there would be less anxiety in us if everyone had their own psychologist. Let me explain with my example.
