I want to tell you an anecdote

Once on a clear spring day (well, or a cloudy autumn), a little Dragon was sitting on one of the streets of a big city (however, perhaps not a big one, and maybe even a village) and was crying bitterly. He was so sweet, so touching. And so unhappy. He cried so bitterly, so desperately!

The city lived its own life, people were in a hurry on business. But no one could pass by the sobbing Dragon. The baby did not leave anyone indifferent! After all, he was so young and defenseless and suffered so bitterly! Gradually, a whole crowd of sympathizers gathered around the unfortunate little Dragon. People asked him, “What happened, poor kid? Why are you crying here all alone? Where is your mom, dad?"

And the little one answered through sobs: “I… I… ate them… s… s…!” - and burst into tears more than ever.

People recoiled in amazement and asked in horror: "Well, who are you after that? !!!"

And the Little Dragon sobbed, bursting into tears: "I am an orphan, an orphan-ah-ah-ah-ah !!!"

Not funny? I love jokes. Because very often these are not jokes at all, but parables. And the depth in these short texts is inexhaustible.

As for the story about the Little Dragon … well, anyone who had a chance to face the problem of drug addiction, or any other addiction, certainly knew themselves, and their loved ones, and their personal history.

Meanwhile, this instructive anecdote - a parable can serve not only to illustrate the history of your family, but also to help you understand what to do in this situation. It is enough to answer to yourself which of the characters - I am and how to act for each of the characters. It would seem that everything is simple. But! To be successful in drug addiction treatment requires honesty with oneself, and this is very difficult.

It is not easy and painful to say to yourself something like this: “I, it turns out, is a Dragon. This is disgusting and I will change it, whatever the cost."

Or: “I am the mother of the Little Dragon and every day I betray my child, allowing myself to be devoured. I need to completely change my behavior with him."

You may have to admit that I am the same passer-by, the very compassionate aunt from the crowd who, having quickly coped with the horror, rushes to save the "poor orphan", and by this I help him not to take responsibility for drug use and his life in general … But if you have the courage to be honest, then your personal path to freedom from drug addiction has already begun!

Call us, we know how to help you go through this difficult path.

By the way, from the story about the Little Dragon, another conclusion suggests itself: drug treatment of drug addiction is a useless and empty idea.

This is the role of "compassionate rescuers", an attempt to quickly save "the poor poor patient who suffers so much." How, tell me, a doctor can help a cannibal change his diet ?! Well, except that for a while, it will reduce the appetite. Comprehensive rehabilitation and resocialization is needed, which will help all "actors" to change their roles in this gloomy fairy tale.

In the Rehabilitation Center for drug addicts "Source" ("Dzherelo"), three-day psychological marathons "Together Again" are regularly held. For 3 days, participants in the rehabilitation and resocialization program together with family members (parents, siblings, grandparents) work on their parent-child and family relationships. Just about changing your relationship: from “draconian” to human, to relations of closeness, trust, respect, warmth and care. The guys and their parents say goodbye to the old "dragon skins", rewrite their family scripts, begin to master new healthy family roles. It's not easy, but very cool!
