At the same time, they want to go beyond the borders, but do not know how to do it, so they continue to do the same as yesterday, and accordingly, the results do not change. How to release the brake, release the handbrake and drive through life at full speed?

There are three effective ways to get out of your comfort zone:

  2. Affirmation and visualization (option without visualization is possible). Creating in the imagination an image of oneself who already has and does what he wants, feels himself and is who he wants

  3. Changing your behavior

So what is affirmation, and how do tactics work? This approach can really help many people to get off the handbrake without resorting to the help of outsiders, to independently work out their bottlenecks, to analyze the real and desired image. The tactic is useful in cases where a person wants to make a breakthrough in his life, but does not know at all how to do it. There is a point A and a point B, but how to go this path is not known, and most importantly, it is not clear what the accompanying feelings will be. How to “try on” and feel this new image?

In order to break out of your circle of habits and a standard lifestyle, you first need to focus on thinking, talking and describing the reality that you want to create. All thoughts should not be kept in your head, you need to talk about it out loud, expressing your desire, but the inner desire should become as tangible as possible, therefore words are necessarily clothed in the form of clear images. Ultimately, thoughts and ideas should completely capture the spirit and consciousness, be constantly in the focus of attention and take up all your free time. Thus, instead of chewing the usual gum from negative and useless thoughts, you need to take "gum from your affirmations or visualizations."

This approach is considered to be quite effective, especially if the needs are correctly identified. In psychology, there is an unspoken rule - the goal and the mental need must coincide. This is where the affirmations make the big leap forward

What are the rules for making an affirmation?

  1. The obligatory beginning with the words "I + verb" (I do, I have, I receive, I create, I enjoy, I am). This greatly affects the subconscious

  2. The verb is used in the present tense in the affirmative. An important nuance is the use of a positive key when composing an affirmation. No denials and particles of "not", "not", "no" - the subconscious mind does not perceive negative particles, transforming them into the opposite effect. It is imperative to look for a replacement. For example, instead of “I am not sick,” one should say “I am healthy,” “I always feel good,” “I radiate happiness, joy and health.”

  3. Adding emotions (with joy, with pleasure, great, strong, confident, gorgeous, good, pleasure, gratitude, etc.). The use of such words will shade the meaning of affirmations, give them additional emotional overtones. For example: "I enjoy the view of the sea from my window!" An important rule of thumb is that the more emotion an affirmation contains, the better

  4. The affirmation should be specific to the person who composes it, and not to the third party. As an example, consider the following situation. The client wants his spouse to clean the apartment better. The affirmation should not be phrased in such a way "My wife cleans the apartment well." This wording is incorrect. The affirmation should be aimed at the client, and accordingly, be about him (I will honestly talk with my spouse and explain to her how important this is for me). All feelings should pass through the client - how he will feel, what he will do in order to be understood, etc

  5. The wording of the statement is as short and specific as possible

  6. Adding the phrase "or better" to the affirmation - to eliminate internal restrictions. Quite often there are situations when people refuse something better just because at the subconscious level there is no certain number or scenario

We can give an excellent example from real life with the famous film actor Jim Carrey ("The Mask", "Ace Ventura Zoodetective", etc.). The actor is in demand and has starred in many films, but this was not always the case. In his youth, he wandered around the city idle and, looking at people, constantly repeated the same affirmation to himself: “I am really a wonderful film actor. Everyone wants to work with me. Great offers await me, they just haven't reached me yet! " Daily, seemingly aimless walks with the repetition of the same memorized affirmation have yielded significant results. Such a projection of the desired reality into the present always works, but only if a person wants something very much and strives for his goal with all his soul

What else is important to note? All negative self-perceptions are a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy. The subconscious image forms the corresponding behavior, which ultimately leads to the confirmation of the negative idea. If a person considers himself to be a bad speaker, he begins to stutter and speak badly, as a result, receives negative reviews and confirmation of his established opinion. In such cases, it is by affirmations that you can regain a different identification and look differently at your personality. Everything is simple to the point of banality. If you keep repeating to yourself “I’m great! I always succeed, I can handle it!”, In the end, such a projection will become reality

You can look at a more complicated example. If a girl has an idea of herself that no one needs her and is worthy of rejection by young people, she will unconsciously do everything to be rejected in order to obtain confirmation of her opinion. There are two ways out of this vicious circle - psychotherapy or affirmation. The second option is much more difficult - first you need to identify your deep setting

What can you do with affirmations so that they are memorized faster and automatically reproduced in your head?

  1. To charge (for example: “I always write excellently, so that it’s even indecent”, “I write softly, gently, very subtly, echoing loudly in my souls”)

  2. Write it on cards and re-read it several times every day. You can place cards everywhere in the apartment and even put them in your wallet

  3. Alternatively, instead of an affirmation, you can make an afformation, that is, reformulate the statement into a question that always more affects the subconscious, and sooner or later the answers are found. For example, instead of saying “I make $ 10,000 a month” use the question “How do I make $ 10,000 a month? What am I doing, earning $ 10,000 a month? " This approach also provokes a great upsurge in the subconscious, which begins to work through and analyze questions. The advantage in this case is that our brain is looking for answers to posed and unanswered questions at any time of the day. And until they are found, brain activity in this direction will not stop. An important condition for the action of tactics is that the questions asked should emotionally affect the person

However, the best way is to visualize yourself in the future. Feel your personality and inner "I", fully focus on sensations (What do you feel, having a future that you dream about? What do you see, hear? What smells and sounds are around?). The brighter the picture, the faster it will get you closer to your desired goal

Some people may have difficulty visualizing, in which case it is recommended to practice every day, at least for a minute. At first, it is quite difficult to visualize your future, often a person "flies out" from an imaginary situation. The main task in this approach is not to see from the outside, but to feel deeper in the desired situation
