I have always wondered why one person can make good money, build a business, while another, even if he tries very hard, creates plans, builds dreams, visualizes them, undergoes various business trainings and persists, but does not get the desired results.

According to statistics, only 25-30% of Russians, more or less, realize their financial dreams. In Russia, only 1% of very rich people, and approximately 70-75% of the adult population, have incomes of up to 50-60 thousand rubles. per month, from which you still need to deduct mandatory payments.

For 12 years of work in banks, having held more than two thousand meetings with businessmen of varying degrees of success, I have developed an understanding why many cannot build a successful business or career. You can, of course, say that money is not the main thing in life, and you need to think more about the spiritual, about self-development, family, and then there will be happiness. All this is true, but as a family psychologist, I often come across the fact that it is precisely by the success of a man, by his income, that many women judge the masculinity of one or another candidate for husband. About his ability to support his family. And the chronic lack of funds in the family is one of the main reasons for divorce.

For many modern girls, personal income is an opportunity to be independent from the whims of their husbands, to dress beautifully, to give their children a good education or to help a spouse create the necessary level of family well-being. Thus, the issue of financial success, especially for men, is strongly associated with a man's ability to build harmonious relationships in the family and not only …

From about 30 to 40 years old, most of us go through the so-called "midlife crisis", which can lead to complete disorientation of a person in his life and work. A midlife crisis is, among other things, a crisis of self-realization. And self-realization, especially for men, is, of course, largely a matter of income.

Below I will give a few, as it seems to me, the main reasons for failure in business, why a person, going about his own business, does not achieve his financial dream, even if he makes a lot of efforts.

The first reason is that a person does not act according to his calling. Chasing "quick" money, he forgets about himself, about his desires, talents. As a result, there is a feeling that, as if, there is not enough strength to achieve the goal, there may be a feeling of the meaninglessness of one's work and life in general.

Second reason failure is that the entrepreneur tries to completely copy an already working business model. For example, a person, having been trained by a successful coach, decided that by copying his business model, his charisma, the topic of his lectures and trainings, he could also become successful.

In the first step, it is effective for learning and understanding. However, you may notice that those who at some point do not bring in their individuality, do not create something of their own, and remain “copies” of someone.

An example would be the widespread copying of design elements of Apple devices by other manufacturers. This only leads to even greater popularity of Apple and an increase in revenue, compared with competitors, which sometimes even work in the red.

The third reason is the idea that if I have excellent marketing, beautiful photos, effective selling texts, if sales funnels are built, a powerful advertising company is launched, then it will work. Yes, it is important!

Although reality speaks of something completely different. Charisma, the energy of a leader does much more than any marketing trick. Analyze any successful business in the real sector and especially on the Internet. The most successful business projects in education are built precisely on the charisma and energy of the leader, everything else is secondary.

In real business, the pattern is the same. If a business owner is removed from management and control over his company, transfers control to a hired manager, then the business, as a rule, begins to wither. To avoid this in large companies, they come up with different incentive systems for TOP managers, make them co-owners of the business, but at the same time, the owner or the board of directors always sets tasks and controls their implementation.

The fourth reason is the idea that if I go through specialized training, business trainings, if they tell me all the nuances of business, then I will immediately be able to launch my profitable business. According to statistics, only 10% of startups become successful. Therefore, you must always have a plan "B". In business planning, it is recommended to have 3 options for the development of events “optimistic, realistic” and “negative”. Among aspiring businessmen, you can find those who do not do any of them. Another way to reduce the likelihood of failure is to work for an already successful businessman as an apprentice. You can first build a career in a hired job, and then launch your project in the area of business where you built a career.

The fifth reason there may be such a belief: "If I try hard, make a good plan, visualize my goals, take into account everything that may interfere with me, then I will be able to achieve my goals quickly enough." In fact, a good plan is a 10-15 year plan and the main goals should be planned for the end of this period. Otherwise, you run the risk of quickly becoming disappointed in case of failures, and they will certainly be. Abraham Lincoln lost 18 elections before becoming President of the United States.

Sixth reason failure is the belief: "If I am faced with failures, then you just need to work harder, learn, strive …". In fact, we need failure in order to learn to listen to ourselves. Perseverance is indeed a useful quality, but a person is not as simple as it seems at first glance. Modern psychology claims that attitudes towards success or failure are largely embedded in the subconscious of a child during his upbringing. In one family, the parents of the child show by their example how to overcome difficulties and achieve goals, and bring up independence in the child. And in - the other father is drinking or lying on the couch in front of the TV. By their behavior, parents form in us either an orientation towards success or avoidance of failure. For example, if the following phrases were often repeated in relation to a child: "You are so pale, you have so little energy", "Why are you not so independent?" the necessary level of energy and independently achieve goals. It is as if something would interfere with such a person in his activities or prevent him from receiving the desired income. In fact, this is nothing more than a subconscious program for failure, which he does not realize, but implements. Without elaboration of such "programs", if you have them, it will be difficult to achieve success.

You may ask: okay, but what to do with statistics. Why do you think that if a person makes fewer mistakes, he will immediately become much more successful? Indeed, in other countries, only 1% of the population can afford whatever they want in material terms. Why did you even write all this, because it only complicates everything?

People need to keep things simple. There is a purpose in life - success, money.

There are methods for achieving success - books, courses, trainings, business education, the experience of others. There are statistics that 10-20% of those striving for success achieve it sooner or later. And those 80% who do not achieve it, despite the education and the efforts made, receive valuable life experience, develop humility. This model works always and everywhere and suits everyone.

However, according to my observations, there is a way out of such a model, which is “not for everyone”. This way out is for 100% of those who wish, and not only for those who have been given the necessary programs from childhood, given a good education, or those who have strong personal charisma, simply genetically.

The main reason for failure, in my opinion, is the desire for money in the first place, the desire to get rich, the desire to obtain status, the desire to possess something that is better than someone else's. This forms the energy of selfishness in a person, which repels potential partners or clients. This prevents a person who is making plans for life to see opportunities for the development of himself and his business.

The logic of success should not be: "If I do this, I will earn so much, then I will buy something with them and I will be happy."

The logic should be as follows: “If I do this, then it (a product or service) will bring such and such a result to others, give new opportunities, change their lives for the better. This is the value of what I do. And in order for me to be able to do this, the client or employer must pay a fair price for the product or service that he received."

Success in business or career is often achieved by those who focus on what they can give, on what will be useful for the client, the employer. And in the second place, on what he gets in return. Remuneration for our work is also a very important aspect of our activity, which many of the false modesty ignore, but it is directly proportional to what we have given.

This is the inner attitude of most successful people with whom I have had the opportunity to communicate. Often they themselves, without even realizing it, "give" at the level of personal energy.

Perhaps this is the secret of the charisma of charismatic, energetic people. They simply feed others with their vitality, optimism, and as a result, they get the opportunity to change people's lives, implement large projects, which, in turn, leads to material benefits.

When a person is focused on what he gives, when he learns to give better and better, to be more useful to others, he not only provides his life with material benefits, but it is then that his life becomes filled with meaning. And when life is filled with meaning, whether your car will be more powerful, your house is bigger, your wife or husband is more beautiful, children are more successful than those of your friends and acquaintances, it becomes not very important. After all, it is an empty, meaningless life that makes us accept the importance of material success as an axiom and chase its attributes all our lives.

However, all of the above does not mean that you do not need to get an education, do marketing, learn to create and develop a business, advertise your products or services, improve as a professional in your field.
