To my great regret, at the moment, the market for psychological services is simply teeming with "Spam" about all kinds of "pseudo-trainings", "useful" advice from half-educated coaches without any psychological education. That simply cannot but outrage a certified psychologist with experience, who did not just "wipe" his pants at the university, but conscientiously taught all subjects and courses provided by many years of experience in training practical psychologists. The names of these (the language does not turn out to be) "trainings" usually bear flashy titles such as "How to make your million", "Become a smart leader in 10 days", "One hundred percent victory. My unique method", "How to trample competitors in just one step" etc. In their composition, all "miraculous" recipes, as a rule, boil down to the usual idle talk, or to all sorts of sermons in the style of "If you want to achieve a promotion (leadership, wealth, trample competitors, earn a million) - you will achieve (you will be a leader, rich, trampled, a millionaire) ! ". In practice, they have no value, because in traditional psychological science, there is no such "useful" advice that is suitable for everyone and everyone. Each person is unique. What is good for a Ukrainian, an American cannot dream in a nightmare.

A leader is, first of all, a person who realizes his unique difference from others, and does not seek "miraculous recipes" that give the illusion of sublimity. The essence of becoming a leader is not to learn all possible techniques, formulas and exercises, but to reveal yourself, your potential, your capabilities. Otherwise, your attempts will be like a pathetic imitation, a desire to show yourself for who you are not. And there is nothing else to do but to quickly (and be sure to notify all social networks) to enroll in the first school that comes across "Trample the Competitors in One Step" streets, from personal experience, will tell you how to gain an advantage over anyone else. And it’s clear that not for beautiful eyes, but for a huge amount of money you diligently earned.

So let's get started.

Step 1: “blocking the inner pessimist”

As soon as you hear an inner voice that whispers that you are a loser, that you will not succeed, that your plans are simply unrealizable - block it! Answer him as if a cocky bully who has not achieved anything in life is talking to you. The best answer to this bully would be - “So what ?, So what next ?, I know better what I can and what I can’t, okay?”. Fight back your inner pessimist every time you hear it. And do not even try to be imbued with his words.

Step 2: “Every day I'm doing well”

Every day, preferably in the evening, celebrate at least seven of your accomplishments in a day. These can be both small things and important victories. Don't miss anything. Be sure to write it down in a special notebook.

Step 3: “I listen to criticism, I accept praise”

Ask your friends, acquaintances, colleagues, relatives to record the praise addressed to you on the dictaphone. For what exactly they love you, what they will always help with and what is so dear to them in you. And vice versa. Those qualities that you would like to get rid of in their opinion. The number of "pluses" and "minuses" should be equal, this is important. After that, take the courage and listen from start to finish. Listen until you can perceive this information without shame or remorse. It is very important to objectively assess your “strengths” on a par with your “weaknesses”.

Step 4: "love your reflection"

No matter how primitive it may sound, you must sincerely love your reflection in the mirror. With it both in clothes and without it. Love your flaws, because they are what makes you special. Every day, starting small, stand in front of a mirror and marvel at the features of your body. Do this exercise until you can look at yourself for a long time without shame, admire your body.

Step 5: “Activity. Target. Solution"

Since passivity is completely eliminated in leadership, your ability to take responsibility for your decisions should increase. If you have been going to take a step for a long time, then act immediately. If you want a promotion - consult your management, if you want to find a new job - post your best resume immediately, etc. In no case should you put things on the back burner.

Step 6: “Responsibility is your middle name”

For every, even everyday, decision, you must take full responsibility and not be afraid of it. Do this: Write at least seven statements that you take full responsibility for. For example:

I am responsible for…

In the process of writing, you will encounter not only resistance (it is very important to overcome it), but also learn to take responsibility for each of your actions sensibly. After all, it is not necessary to rush everyone to solve their problems. You will also learn how to eradicate the moment of “being good for everyone” and “social significance”.

Step 7: "The magic word NO"

No matter how difficult it is, but learn to fight back and refuse all those who climb on your head. A sensible refusal will not only not harm, but will also help you avoid unnecessary trouble, act to the detriment of your interests. Try to deny at least one request every day, gradually increasing the number of rejections. This certainly does not mean that you need to be a stale cracker that does not help anyone, you just need to look at things sensibly. And help only those who really need it and deserve your help. The main thing is that this help does not harm you, your plans and achievements.

Step 8: “Perseverance, not stubbornness”

This step is to learn how to get your way. Insist on your requests, seek some solutions, defend your point of view. Keep a record of what you were able to insist on and what your request was fulfilled due to your persistence. Keep your back straight and your shoulders straight. This posture in itself will give you confidence. But in no case should you be stubborn. Let's say NO to stubbornness and be loyal to other opinions, judgments and thoughts. You have to be flexible.

Step 9: “Risking YOU”

Don't be afraid to take risks. Do what you would not have dared to do before. Have you long wanted to sign up for wrestling, figure skating or cutting and sewing courses? - be sure to sign up! Go to the mountains, to the sea. Go cycling, skating, rollerblading. Couldn't go to a nightclub on your own - by all means go! It is an invaluable experience to do something that you would never have dared to do before. Call us! Write! Invite! With every step you take, you will become more and more confident in yourself and your strengths.

Step 10: “The alternative is a place to be”

For every situation, for every action and decision you make, we come up with an alternative. Necessarily! Even if you don't like it. This will teach you to make an informed choice. If this seems difficult at first, ask a friend or coworker to help you compile a list of alternative solutions for a specific situation.

Step 11: “Accepting Obstacles”

Be sure to draw up a list of obstacles that prevent you from achieving a specific goal. Describe in detail all the arguments that bother you, until they completely end, realize and feel, reiterate your goal and say what bothers you, and then burn the list.

Step 12: “Realizing Real Timelines”

Each change takes hard work and of course time. Therefore, do not be surprised that you will not be able to change your habits after a week. Just imagine, a person has been a bummer and lazy all his life, and now he wants to change in one day. Absurd, right? Exactly. So set yourself realistic deadlines for each specific goal.

Step 13: "To your beloved"

We compile a detailed list of the pleasures that you would like to pamper yourself with. It can be something material - clothes, accessories, snacks, and spiritual - walking, communication, sex in the end. And do (you can according to the list, or you can scatter) one every day. Pamper yourself, love and cherish. Remember that good work requires good rest and good encouragement.

Making each subsequent step, do not forget about the previous one, until it becomes your habit. And in no case do we deviate from the intended goal. Even if something doesn't work the first time, it doesn't matter. We return to where we got stuck and work it out to the bitter end.
