There are many articles like "The 10 Rules for Success" or "The 25 Habits of Rich People." There are tons of books out there that teach you how to get rich. Thousands of trainers and financial advisors are ready to teach us how to achieve success. It would seem that everyone should have rushed to learn and get rich, but … it really works - with units. That is, it does not work. Not a single piece of advice from the best coach works until there is a student willing to follow it.

Over the 12 years that I have been consulting and conducting trainings as a psychologist, I have found 4 reasons why people cannot increase their income. This is what my clients are saying.

1. I do not believe that I can change anything

And so I don't do anything. I am not learning to build a business. I don't study marketing and sales. I don't develop good habits. You can enumerate for a long time what I do not do, the essence remains the same: I do not believe.

This is step # 1 that no one else will do for you. Faith is only your choice. You are doing this act inside yourself right now: either believe this article or not. Try to stop reading and notice that you are in control of your faith right now. You can believe right at this moment. This exercise will take you a maximum of 2 minutes. Close your eyes for 2 minutes, go into the inner space and notice that you are making a choice right now whether to believe or not.

What will be your choice? Do you believe it or not?

2. I don't know what to do

I just made no attempt to find out. I don't even try to think about it regularly.

Do an experiment this week. Set aside an hour a day for seven days in a row to think about what kind of business you could do and how to organize it. If you have a business, then think about how you can expand it and increase your profits. Measure with a timer. It doesn't matter if it's for an entire hour in a row or 10 times for 6 minutes. It is important that an hour accumulates during the day. Seven days in a row. Don't plan for the outcome, just do the exercise.

At the end of the week, write down the bottom line of your thoughts. I am sure that in just seven hours you will move far ahead.

3. I have not tested

I never went from thinking to acting. What if I start doing it - and it won't work?

We will never figure out what we can do and what we don’t unless we do something to check it out.

Carry out an experiment by analogy with the previous point. Set aside 1 hour a day to take action. Just start organizing your business. Let it be 4 times a day for 15 minutes, but let it be. Every day.\

4. I tried

I tried it, it didn't work out for me.

Eric Byrne wrote that Luckers and Losers differ in only one thing. Losers always know what they will do when they get lucky. Lucky ones have a plan for all occasions. Therefore, in case of failure, Losers spend a lot of time to recover from financial and moral losses, while Lucky ones just go to “plan B” and try again.

In Russia, every seventh business survives and generates income. This means that if you tried less than 7 times, you tried a little. And in 7 times you will somehow learn how to do things.

Psychologists know that there is one common name for all of these four reasons: low self-esteem. Therefore, if a psychologist works with a client on the topic of money, he always works with self-esteem

Judge for yourself:

1. We believe in ourselves as much as we believed in us.

2. We allow ourselves to think what we were allowed to think.

3. We experiment as much as we are allowed to be free.

4. We try as long as we have enough faith.

Self-esteem - this is the key to wealth. Until we find this key, everything else does not work.
