Fear is also what naturally stops us from changing. Culture has invented it as a kind of regulatory mechanism.

If someone could give a guarantee that we will change our activities and become a free artist, not die of hunger and be successful, of course, we would say yes and go for it. But then the value of the changes would be minimal.

You can never predict the effectiveness of your changes and the result.

Moreover, with significant changes, your entire environment will object. The reasons are obvious - the people around you, especially those close to you, are used to this. They don't want to see you differently. They don't think about values and other aspects of your changes; they want stability for themselves. And that's okay.

If you change jobs, your family is involved. And there is a price for everything. On the one hand, you give up what is painful for you and prospects open up before you, but no guarantees. There are many fears. Therefore, often, in order to decide on changes, you need to either reach the handle and physically feel bad, or you need significant support from the outside.

If you get support and acceptance from significant people even if you fail, your fear will not diminish. It will become bearable.

The question is not how to get rid of the fear, but how to balance it.

What can balance fear?

Intense longing desire.

Belief in you of other people and the ability to lean on someone. It is likely that leaving your job will not take you back, but your fear will be balanced out by the support you receive.

Moreover, if you try to get guarantees, most of your passion and desire to change something will go into those guarantees. The value of the changes will not be so great. If the fear is insignificant, you simply will not take over all the changes that have taken place.
