Quite often in coaching I work using the SCORE model. And as a tool for collecting and organizing information, and for building cause-and-effect relationships, and in a systematic format.

And you will probably agree with me that all people are different, and each needs an individual approach, its own key. Both the number of sectors and their sequence, which we identify during the session, also vary in different ways.

And just like with an individual approach and psychological counseling, analyzing various approaches of organizational mentoring, business consulting, we can track that they also work at different poles of the SCORE model. Thus, psychoanalysis works more with causes and symptoms, while coaching is more focused on results and effects.

And if we take efficiency, the psychology of success as a basis, and use the presuppositions of coaching, then it is logical to start with what we want, where we are striving, that is, with the desired Result, with our Goals. And only then proceed to the study of the Reality that surrounds us right now, the Reasons (if necessary) that led us to where we are now and the Effects and bonuses that we will receive when we reach our Goal.

And with all this in mind, I thought…. why not leave the S. C. O. R. E. good old NLP, and enrich coaching with a new Model - the O. S. C. E. R. Model ©

The OSCER © model is based on the fact that the Goals based only on the current reality (and even more so, if you start from the present state), often remain just a reaction to the problem, they are a little constrained and limited by past experience, they lack imagination, they may not be very global, and not very inspiring.

Consider Walt Disney's model and strategy. Let's start with the Dreamer! We fataze, we are creative, we gush with ideas!

We allow ourselves a little more!

And of course we remember that a systematic approach is important, a systemic understanding of what is happening. And we consider all issues, requests, problems, projects in conjunction. Is it possible to do without researching the current situation and symptoms at all? Of course not. Is it possible to do without understanding the reasons? Sometimes yes…

I believe that it is more productive to focus efforts on a more detailed study of a better future in which to live than on an irretrievably gone past.

Let's take a course in a positive and result-oriented direction of counseling

DESIRED RESULT / Desired State

• What do you want?

• What exactly will be the result? (XCP)

• How do you know (VAK)?

S SYMPTOMS / Present condition

• What do you have instead?

• What is the current situation?

• What is happening / is now?

• What do you want to change?

• What happens when…?

C REASONS

• Why don't you have what you want?

• What caused the current state of affairs?

• What does not give you?

• What happens if … you receive an FS?

• What happens if … you don’t get the ZhS?

• Secondary benefits: What do you get from not happening?

• What will you lose if this happens?

E EFFECTS

• What will happen after achieving the goal / receiving the LS?

• What it will bring to you?

• How will these changes affect your life and the lives of your loved ones?

• What more distant consequences can you predict?

R RESOURCES

• What do you need to achieve your goal?

• What could help you move towards rapid change?

• What did you lack to get the result?
